可能是因为小时候是在中国的农村长大的，对农村的记忆特别好。现在离开几十年了，
时常都想回去看看，回去生活在那里。
虽然知道现在的农村已经不是当初的样子，很多小时候的伙伴已经到大城市了。农村现
在就剩下老幼妇孺了。但是还是向往那种满村子跑，互相串门，端碗饭坐在门口一边聊
天一边吃的感觉。
现在有了自己的宝宝，知道是不可能再回去生活了。而且拿什么糊口呢？种地是不可能
的了。要是老公能赚很多钱，我带着我的宝宝在农村去生活怎么样？买辆车，可以偶尔
到城里购物，看病，逛街。大部分时间就和宝宝在农村，到处串门，和其他小朋友一起
玩，到了上学的季节跟其他小朋友一起上学去。

60年是死亡率的峰值。这个死亡率的数字当然以中国政府的数字为基准。数字的可靠性
，Coale在他的文章里面讨论过，结论是基本可靠。其他的数字我没兴趣理会。Coale是
人口统计领域的大牛，他老人家的文章我是看过的, 文章里面表10很明确，25.43‰是
Official Crude Death Rate， 38.8 ‰是Rouphly Corrected for Underestimation.
这个估计出来的数字是有前提假设，和主观因素在内的。因此只有参考意义，用来和其
他的Crude Death Rate直接比较就是开玩笑了。Coale的书你读过一遍了么？一个数字
背后有一大堆的细节呢。
至于灾害数字的引用，直接引用不行，还非套上墓碑？墓碑当不了白手套，黑手套还差
不多。那是是典型的介于文学和科学之间的东西。里面不可靠的东西也太多了。我没意
思要跟谁就这个月经题目吵架。自己考考古吧，我懒得举例了。
讨论人口变化问题，鉴于原始材料的缺乏，本来就是一个学术问题，不通过系统科学的
研究，是没可能有任何可靠的结论的。外 |

发帖数: 2792 | 15 恩，是1929-1931年，作者走访南北11省，调查了12456个农村家庭67643口人死亡1736得出来死亡率25.7‰（不算1岁以下中国是20.6‰）。作者给出的同期印度的死亡率是38.4‰， 国力远强于中国的日本是20‰，俄国是18.8‰。
如果谁能给出59-61这几个国家的死亡率，就比较有说服力了。
Coale的文章说的是1964前记录的死亡人数远不如1964年以后完整，所以那些年中国真实的死亡率下降的幅度要大大超过官方认为的。59-61是在第一次普查期间（53-64），该期间estimated有38%的死亡是没有记录的，53-56更是只有55%的死亡记录在案，而到64年就提高到84%，中间的60年死亡记录率该是66%，把未登记造成的遗漏考虑在内，Coale得出的60年的死亡率是38.8‰。
Coale很清楚是说官方的数据有明显遗漏，我不认为这是官方数字可靠的结论。他正是因为官方数字不妥帖才给出一个roughly corrected，这个数据当然是有前提假设的，但这个前提是官方未采用但却做研究却不容忽略的，而且这还是一个understatement的修正。

是就人口统计数据进行研究，人口变化在线性拟合之外的那部分产生的原因不在他的讨
论范围内。而且，他的那个从1千6百万到2千7百万多出来的数字到底是怎么估算的，他
没有给出合理解释，只是简单地归于统计误差这一句话。
另外，还有好几篇人口统计的文章是关于1949年前的，也应该看一看作为对比。根据
John Leighton Stuart，i.e.美国驻中国大使(1946-1949), 中国当时每年死于饥荒的
人口3百万～7百万（大致是这样吧，如果有人查一下原始出处就多谢了），这个统计肯
定也是不完全的。另外，写 Mao’s Great Famine 的Dikotter把正常死亡率设定在千
分之十。不过作为对照，美国60年死亡率是千分之9.5。中国2011年是千分之7.03，49
年前都是在千分之25以上。
中国这边，主流学者也有类似从人口统计角度来研究三年困难时期的。结论差不多也是
1000万到2000万之间。我指的是比较严肃的学者，杨继绳这样的报告文学不算。如果看
