说12月内不能去client工作，等h1 批了后打算给ICC说转正，他们会起诉我吗？
我用不用给client说这个可能起诉的事情，这个ICC有不少跳出的，但是很多是换了地
方，
估计和这个non compete没关系。
还有client的经理和ICC的经理关系很好，还有别的同一个CC下人在client工作，ICC不
想把关系搞僵吧。
最后client经理说12月底的时候就和ICC的经理说了，他要我转正，ICC到目前也没问过
我这事。。。还有client在CA，CC在NJ
查了查说non complete在CA无效，但签合同的CC在NJ啊，client在CA |

猜一下吧：
1. 一个client 对一个server
2. 多个client 对一个server
3. 一个client 对多个server
4. 多个client 对多个server
可以把1和2算做一类问题，3和4算做第二类问题
第一类问题就是传呗，一个server最终也就那么多cpu/ram/hdd，没啥花样
第二类问题，多个server可以选其中1-2个做master，其余的全是chunk server。
client上传的时候，不要经过master，master直接分配几个chunk server给client传文
件，其中一个chunk server可以作为leader，文件partition之后，一式三份保存在不
同的chunk server；文件分隔和保存记录可以存在master上 |

My problem is the number of n is limited to be < 65
when I bring up those clients one at a time with
10 seconds interval time between two adjacent

个人又打电话说工资，噼里啪啦地可能在按计算器。刚开始我以为是recruiter，对话
来对话去才知道是consultant 公司。对方说完工资，就发了一个offer letter。
hourly pay，有health insurance，401(k)（没有match，这也叫benefit？)，没提
relocation fee。
哪家client公司（地点知道），具体职位，我都不清楚，因为job广告上写的也不清楚
，只列了一堆关键词。Duration: 12+ months Contract.还没来得及问这个duration
问题。employment at will。
现在我的疑问是：我还想知道到底client公司做什么，需要什么技能。而且要是client
公司觉得我的技能不是很match，几天后就辞掉我，不是坑爹吗？
能否我要几千作为sign-on bonus，表示consultant公司的诚意。或者你们怎么做的？
是否可以要求一个on-site interview。 |

不存在公司内部淘汰。关键是怕自己技能和client公司要求的不match，被client 公司
终止Employment关系，那么consultant公司也不管的。他们都不损失什么，反正是拉个
人来试。我损失的。所以我还是先问清楚了再去。

purposes. I am worried that: 1) my clients are the confidential assets of
my current employer; 2) there is a risk that those 5 clients may tell my
current employer that I'm interviewing with another firm. Can I reject this
request and only provide my previous employers' info?

所以legally speaking, 应该是只要你client同意， 你可以用他们做reference, 和你
现在公司无关, 只要你不以新公司名义solicitate their business.
你从现在公司走以后， 只要client contact是你记在脑子里面的， 你可以把他们拉到
新公司去， 没有任何legal甚至ethical problem, unless you have other
contractual agreement with your old company.
原公司记有client的纸是公司财产你不能拿。

于office outlook强大的编辑功能。下面从我关注的方面对比一下两种方式。
1.安全性。Web mail wins. 不必下载邮件内容到本地，所有操作直接对服务器，连备份都不考虑
2.检索。Web mail wins. 直接检索所有邮件，即使一年前的某个附件可以瞬间找到。
3.操作便捷性。Client wins. 支持鼠标右键直接发送附件，可以直接复制图片到邮件正文中。
4.功能。Client wins. Outlook拥有几乎全部的word编辑排版功能。
5.同步。Web wins. Mobile 到web基本是无缝连接，所有calender, task, mail都是同步
操作。这点outlook比较杯具，除非用exchange服务器。Outlook和gmail的联系人只有企业用
户可以，普通用户是年费50美元。
最后还是没得出结论，目前是client处理mail，联系人和任务用web。谁有更好的解决

一个hp的thin client 恶霸价格应该在100刀之内
功耗小于10w，如果加上一个2。5寸盘，或者用16g U盘bt
整个功耗就是10w左右的
一度电能跑100小时，大概4天。一年是90度电，大概就是9块钱的
thin client还可以配置成www/ftp/samba/print server
比那个asus的router灵活多了。
thin client的cpu和内存都比router好多了。吞吐率应该也会比router好。
当然，折腾这么多的前提就是要会linux的， |

偶用西红柿router搭了个桥，来有线接我的PC。
貌似只能选wireless client才work（wireless ethernet bridge不行），
而wireless client又要求在"wan"选项不能disable，至少dhcp。
结果成了这个样子。其实我记得wan可以disable的。
结果网上邻居们看不到了。自然打印机啊都不灵了。
咋回事呢？请指教。谢了。

你写了个class，client用你的class的时候可能会要写个function用你这个class做参
数——这就是这个限制起作用的时候。
或者这么说，你写了一个class之后，任何时候你（或者）别人跟这个class打交道
都是client，除非你是在修改这个class本身。
