whether he'll be able to pitch again for the New York Yankees
this postseason because of a hamstring injury.
Clemens left last night's game in the third inning,
aggravating a hamstring problem that plagued him the final month
of the season.
``I don't know what's going to go on,'' Clemens, 45, told
reporters in the clubhouse at Yankee Stadium after the game.
``I'm just going to do everything I can to get my leg well.''

2004年Roger Clemens凭借W赢了Randy Johnson，是10年来CY最大的不公平。
Unit beat Clemens in almost every category other than W. His ERA+
was 178 while Clemens' was 146 (don't forget ERA is logarithmic);
his WHIP was 0.90 while Clemens' was 1.16. He K'ed 72 more hitters
than Clemens did (290 - 218). Still Clemens was the overwhelming
winner. It was unfair. If the vote were to be held today, I am
almost certain that Clemens has no chance.

如果说小学，Centennial Lane 〉Northfield 〉Clemens Crossing。。。小学的人种
比例你从哪里找的？ 根据官方网站，www.hcpss.org，Clemens Crossing的AA占15.8%
，HS占12.8%。。。 如果不考虑其它因素，Centennial Lane 比Clemens Crossing要好
很多。。。 但就象你说的，在价格同等的情况下，Clemens Crossing的区房子比较新
，Centennial Lane要老很多。
如果说高中，Centennial HS在HOWARD COUNTY排第一，以看成绩为主的话。Atholton
HS大概排第四。以前，Atholton HS不行，但自从一部分RIVER HILL HS的房子给划过去
之后，成绩上来得很快。

候PETITE，CLEMENS和PUSSINA 都差不多的普通，HUGHES认为经验还不够。现在PUSSINA
已经是OUTOFTHE QUESTION了，HUGHES和CLEMENS也好不到哪里去。PETITE倒是明显恢复
不少。
如果用WANG和PETITE，应该不比除了REDSOX之外任何一队的1，2号差，选CLEMENS和
HUGHES里面状态好点的打第3号。应该还是不错的。要是HUGHES和CLEMENS都上，一半已
经去掉了，打个球啊。 |

2001年的10月，911刚刚发生不久，美国人民特别是纽约人民正处于巨大的哀痛之中。
洋基队带着各种政治正确和三连冠/五年四冠的头衔进入了决赛。全国人民都为他们祝
福（其实全国人民尤其是波士顿人民对于洋基夺冠早特么看腻歪了），冠军是势在必得。
对手是建队才几年，以往战绩乏善可陈的亚利桑那响尾蛇，似乎没有悬念。可是上狗却
是响尾蛇。是的，你没看错！当年响队有两个Cy Young级的投手，Curt Schilling (
ERA 2.98/whip 1.075)和Randy Johnson (ERA 2.49/WHIP 1.009).这就相当于你的队里
有Verlander和Kershaw两个ace级人物，而且响尾蛇队准备把他们操到爆。Schilling负

不同
有人推荐住columbia，网上一查，就clemens crossing和thunder hill两个小学是10分
，还以为很简单，后来就是看了你在MD关于学区的文章，一查这两个学校黑人和
hispanic比例都超过25%，才发现找错学校了。
Atholton HS原来是这么个情况啊。还有点比较疑惑的，Clemens Crossing如果人种杂
教学质量一般的话，为什么排名还挺前呢 |

M's first two starters pitched good games, however, many
times it was the yankee players getting out themselves
rather than otherwise.
Overall, M's starting pitchers are not scary at all. I would
take Duque, Clemens, Pettitte, Neagle over the M's guys in a
heartbeat.
Hittingwise, both teams have some ability but both are not
overwelming. I don't know who has the advantage right now.

(1) Brown is only 2 year younger than Clemens and injury-prone
(2) Brown pitched in Dodger stadium
(3) Brown pitched in National league
not much upgrade, in my opinion.
The signing of Burks by the redsox can't be ignored. He will get a lot of
at-bats from Nixon or Ortiz when facing a left-handed pitching.
But I do agree with you that Yankees will win the division because some wacky
things will happen to the cursed red |

，所以响尾蛇占先，头两场是在凤凰城。第一场Schilling对阵洋基头牌Mike Mussina
。Schilling没让洋基的打手群有任何表现，而蛇队在有嗑药嫌疑的大棒Luis Gonzalez
(57 HR,142 RBI, .325 AVG)带领下爆了Mussina。全场洋基只得一分，响尾蛇9：1大
胜。
第二场是Johnson对阵Andy Pettitte。对，这位老弟今天还在洋基打球，上个赛季还老
树开花来着，而且是老当益壮，搞不清第几春了。当然也不是一直在洋基，中间逛了一
大圈算是叶落归根了。Pettitte比Mussina强不少，但是Johnson的表现对于洋基来说，
只能用毫无办法来形容。响尾蛇1：0小幅领先到第七局然后扩大战果，最后4：0再下一
城。
这时整个赛程只能用平淡无奇来形容，但是当时洋基如日中天，没人觉得会被这么轻易
横扫。而且就在之前几年，1996年的世界大赛，年轻的洋基在主场前两场总比分16：1
惨败，转为客场后反而气势如虹，连下4场反败为胜，掀开了王朝的又一篇章。

2001年的10月，911刚刚发生不久，美国人民特别是纽约人民正处于巨大的哀痛之中。
洋基队带着各种政治正确和三连冠/五年四冠的头衔进入了决赛。全国人民都为他们祝
福（其实全国人民尤其是波士顿人民对于洋基夺冠早特么看腻歪了），冠军是势在必得。
对手是建队才几年，以往战绩乏善可陈的亚利桑那响尾蛇，似乎没有悬念。可是上狗却
是响尾蛇。是的，你没看错！当年响队有两个Cy Young级的投手，Curt Schilling (
ERA 2.98/whip 1.075)和Randy Johnson (ERA 2.49/WHIP 1.009).这就相当于你的队里
有Verlander和Kershaw两个ace级人物，而且响尾蛇队准备把他们操到爆。Schilling负
责1，4，7场，Johnson负责2，6场。这就意味着洋基要夺冠必须从这两个ace里拿下两
场，另外两场也要赢才行。而后来情况证明，这两位ace比想象得还耐操。Randy
Johnson不光先发了2，6，而且先发后第二天就救援了最后的第七场。
