Calling TO was the traditional thinking in normal
games, but think about the reward and risk in
this game's context.
On the reward side, scoring a FG in 20 seconds
and 2TO is theoretically possible but always very
very unlikely. In this particular game, Rams D wasn't
exhausted like in a normal game, so no cheap easy
completion; Hawks were playing on the road, so no

发帖数: 33224 | 29 没必要慌。首先打Rams，我觉得8成胜算。另外，即使输了。SF肯定能搞定Cardinals吗
？先想最坏的。万一No 1 seed没了，一定打酱油了吗？第一轮，不是Bears就是GB。这
个客场还是能拿下了。当然不可避免的客场要干SF/Saints或者Panthers。也未必赢不
下来。
再说，Seahawks的问题。Seahawks的问题当然是进攻一般--非常一般。拿掉Lynch基本
上就没啥了。RW是帅才，好处是有精兵良将，他会用；坏处是，没有精兵良将，他自己
就是摆设。他还是属于game manager那类的。
为啥说不要太惊慌呢？今天WR表现不好。一是Cardinals防守太好了：RW时间很少，WR
被盯着很紧，Lynch也跑不动。即使这样，RW还是创造了一些机会，没有太严重失误。
Rams最近没看了。从战绩看还是不如Cardinals。Seahawks可以借鉴49那场打就好了。
当然Rams肯定也不是白给。据说Quinn很生猛。Stacy也很牛。但是Clemens其实不如
Palmer吧。
我还是觉得Seahawks有8成胜算。

因为大白菜是NFL捧出来的，所以媒体和NFL 都是自动默认白菜是无罪的并各种洗地。
甚至连就算吃了HGH也没什么的的都出来了。而不是本着媒体记者应有的态度，调查求

如果禁丑闻主角是 cam newton, tom brady, jonny football, aaron rodgers等人的

There have been a few different studies on pitchers who were able to return
from this type of surgery. Will Carroll, a baseball medical expert, wrote
about labrum surgery back in the early 2000s. His results showed, "Of the 36
major-league hurlers diagnosed with labrum tears in the last five years,
only midlevel reliever Rocky Biddle has returned to his previous level." One
out of 36 is not very good odds.

先科普一下背景知识--预测cooperstown入选几率的主要评分标准是career war/peak
war/jaws score
peak war又称war 7,是选职业生涯最高的7年(可以不连续)，那我就不明白了，为什么
war 7比career war的数值要低呢，不是应该更高才对么。。。
而jaws score是这俩当然平均或者加权平均，我也没有100%搞清楚 //汗
进入cooperstown需要>75%的votes,so far全部votes大概已经进来了接近60%。。。
先来看看模范排头兵chipper jones同学:
他的数据是85/47/66，而HOFers在他这个位置上的平均值是66/43/54，所以他是一点儿
疑问都没有的lock down的first ballot HOFer。。。预计他的票选比例最终会超过95%
甚至97%，甚至有可能会是historic的，以前也有过几个灰常高的，maddux,big unit,
Jr，还有人说未来jeter甚至有可能接近100%。。。
