COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Former Ohio State football star Maurice Clarett accused
coach Jim Tressel, his staff, and school boosters of arranging for him to
get passing grades, cars, bogus summer jobs, and thousands of dollars in
cash. The school denied the claims yesterday.
Most of Clarett's charges, made in an interview with ESPN The Magazine, were
addressed as part of an NCAA probe that found the running back lied to

Clarett made the team as a freshman as a backup running back. Tressel told
him that in the team's first game—at home against Texas Tech—Clarett would
get three series of work. "I did nothing in my first two series," says
Clarett. But on the third one, he broke a long run. The home crowd went
crazy. "The fans put you in games, at least at Ohio State," he says. He
finished that game with 175 rushing yards and three touchdowns.

pity and tragic story - had clarett kept his mouth shut and listened to jim
brown and marcus allen, he would have stayed at ohio state and probably won
another NC and a heisman, and become a first round pick this year. look at
where he is now, he'd be lucky to get drafted (i do believe there'll be teams
taking a chance on him, after all, he could play ball, even in his limited
appearances back in 2002).

你说JT从YSU就开始cheat, 证据何在？ncaa investiate了，没处罚，算innocent还是没
证据？
要说大家心里有把秤当证据也可以，JT一直在cheat, from YSU, 只不过YSU没被抓住罢

大家去年对OSU是不屑一晒的，觉得BIG 10去碰FLORIDA的球队就是打着
灯笼上厕所---。。。可没想到决赛MIAMI哑火，让偶大失所望，以至与
下半场就根本没看。当然偶们也要给OSU应有的CREDIT，不是烂队，但是
那打法，真叫是“老太太的脸蛋”-- 皱皱巴巴，让人看了堵的慌，跟
大傻 带领的胡人有一拼。
这个赛季一来，OSU仍然把屡试不爽的皱巴打法奉为至宝，再加上小傻子
Clarett发了羊角疯不能上场，“老太太脸蛋”再次失水，成“老头脸蛋”了，
整个比赛已经开始让人窒息。
竟然还口口声声还要 再次冲进决赛给大家添堵，当然是飞机炸茅房---。。。，
成了人民公敌。 这是WISC比赛之前本版的当时状态。
输给WISC之后，进白糖碗的希望渺茫，民怨平息了许多，大家渐渐淡 |

balls all the time. he understands his role and trusts his coaches.
and i think he's a much better athelete than kellen. after all winslow
is just a TE. a great TE granted, but not a WR after all.
larry fitzgerald should get the heisman although i think right now it's
jason white's to lose.
btw, if maurice clarett can win the lawsuit against NFL larry should be
drafted in the first round (maybe top 3) next year |

大家都--或者几乎都--热爱自己的学校，为跟球赛有关的事情打打嘴仗还是挺好玩的，但
应该停留在就事论事的高度上。总有一些人（俺没什么所指，请勿对号入座）动不动就上
升到personal的程度，没必要。
比如说clarett， sapp， winslow, etc etc,从他们的行为看就是社会渣滓那种类型，往
轻里说也至少是缺少教养。要是你还不同意，设想一下要是你身边有个普通人是这种为人
你会不会跟他做朋友。别人说他们不好，你要是还觉得他们挺好的，defend一下也是为本
版作贡献，但因此而痛骂指责他们的人就没意思了。那些球员既不是我的亲戚也不是我的
朋友，唯一的联系就是他们为我的学校打球，别人说他好又怎样说他坏又怎样！
说到社会渣子，也举个俺们自己的例子吧，你们哪个学校的球员带着手铐出现在SI的封面
上过？俺们就有过，大标题how barry switzer's sooners terrorized their campus. |

bottom half of 4th qtr, not many games offer the same level of excitement
because most other games have already entered garbage time. and i like
watching OTs because each team starts from 25 yard line, then it's a lot
easier to score.. the entertainment value goes up.
last year's OSU is not too much different from this year's OSU (except clarett)
and the fiesta bowl is already an almost unanimous classic. (the 4th qtr

helped.. Tedd Ginn is ranked as the no. 1 CB prospect in the
nation :) So buckeyes CB tradition continues :)
Great job in Tressel.. got the no. 1 QB 2 years ago in Zwick,
no. 1 RB in Clarett, instant All-American Holmes, and last night's
MVP AJ Hawk.
now we await the decision from Fred Davis, a top WR prospect to
commit to buckeyes (the other contenders are Miami and USC). hope
our performance last night convinced him

i think the only factor may pull them back is money.
for Moc, now he is eligible, assuming he wins the suit at the end.
one thing could make hime back to OSU is money.
if he is going to be drafted top 5 this year, no ways he is back.
if he asks the experts and finds he might be drafted no earlier than 2nd
round,
then he will think about money.
