I agree with you that acrylic acid probably is much more reactive than
acrylamide.
One way to circumvent the problem is to copolymerize tert-butyl acrylate
with acrylamide, which might have similar reactivities. Then hydrolyze.

涉及到很tricky的PED保护问题，根据目前FDA的决定，除非CAFC有专门的决定，FDA才
会批Apotex，否则Mylan就要独享180天的exclusivity。CAFC的opinion读了，从化学的
角度上看（我原来做有机合成的PhD），我认为类似的弄个新的盐就想当新东西卖，是
比较无耻的一种做法，应该全部咔嚓掉。这个案例挺重要的，因为将来会有不少类似的
官司要打。
晶型专利有的还是非常难circumvent的，因为在formulation的过程中，很多不是最
稳定的晶型会部分或者全部转变成最稳定，这就会被抓住小辫子。有很多例子。

this partition into R^3 gives very interesting tiling with
Villarceau circles, but unfortunately with one additional line,
which makes it less attractive. not sure how to circumvent this.

in credit risk, you model on "bad"; while in marketing, you model on "
response". both employ logistic regression or decision tree..
of course, there are some other differences, for example, in marketing, you
may not use individual data to build models because it against the law (
however, you may use zip level data to circumvent the law). however, in risk
modeling (here i meant underwriting or collections), you are free to use
individual data....
