纽约做的最好的烤鸭不是华人店，而是美国店，有好几家都有，但是需要提前一两个礼
拜预约，吃个烤鸭要花几百刀（53街Peking duck house大约60刀一只，华尔道夫内的
Le Chine大约78刀一只），相比而言美国店品质更好一些，就是太贵，比如纽约Decoy，
记得吃这家的烤鸭一定要预约，纽约人吃喜欢烤鸭的不少。
所以如果大董来纽约开店，广告做得好，烤鸭做得好，店就一定能经营的不错，周末纽
约的烤鸭店临时都不好预约座位。 |

高大上的中餐，环境宜人舒适，服务周到，饭店位置好，饭菜精致，要数拉斯维加斯的
Jasmine和Wing Lei，最像国内高级中餐厅，目前纽约的Le Chine也还算不错，法拉盛
和唐人街的中餐厅位置和环境没有好的。 |

Kushner）家族旗下一家公司达成协议，向位于纽约第五大道666号的摩天大楼注资逾4
亿美元。
根据彭博报道的详细内容，此交易给这座41层高的大厦估值28.5亿美元，为有史以来曼
哈顿单栋建筑的最高价：其中办公楼部分为16亿美元，零售商业部分为12.5亿美元。新
合作计划将为现有的11.5亿美元抵押贷款提供再融资。协议付诸实施后，库什纳家族所
欠的现有抵押贷款将降至当前余额的约五分之一。

严格说，sino是希腊语的转写，希腊语的“中国”词根是sin，加上阳性词尾o变为sino
。技术性词汇多半来自希腊语。
sin在英文不好听，但在希腊语里面却恰好带上非常高大上的涵义：“神的国度”，所
以希腊语诗歌里面有用land of gods（众神之国）的意象称中国，类似阿拉伯古代诗歌
里面的the land of mulberry （and silkworm）的意象。
历史上有过一个希腊语直接过来的表示中国的形容词,就是Sinaean，这是一个非常褒义
的词。其实这是误会，因为词根形式上和Sinai西奈有了联系。
历史上，东伊朗族群（月氏）和秦国有过长期交流和战争，被匈奴驱赶西逃以后把秦（
Chin）这个名字带到了西亚和北印度。所以梵语称中国为 chin，加上阴性名字的词尾a
变成 china（支那），古梵语一般在前面再加上 maha前缀（意思是大），变成
mahachina，佛经里面的“摩诃支那”。
