一名華裔婦女16日中午從曼哈頓東村一家餐館電話訂餐後，收到顧客名字處寫有含種族
歧視意味的「中國佬」(Ching Chong)字樣的收據，大為吃驚和氣憤。此事在社交媒體
披露後，群情激憤，涉事餐館為平息眾怒，已解雇該員工。
該華婦女兒友人周詩琪(Ziggy Chau)將該收據照片在臉書(Facebook)貼出，呼籲亞裔發
聲抵制，獲眾多民眾支持，在社交媒體瘋轉，該餐館Cornerstone Cafe經理16日晚發表
道歉聲明，並表示已解雇該涉案服務員。
不過，知情者指出，該經理在剛開始接獲投訴電話時，並沒有立即道歉，甚至反問該華
婦名字發音是否與「Ching Chong」相似，後來基於輿論壓力才表示道歉。
周詩琪指出，此事發生在朋友母親身上，「她是華人，來這裡探望女兒，當天通過電話
