(我们户外活动很多, 家附近也全是山坡和unpaved road, 所以先选了一个jogging
stroller. 打算半岁以前主要推这个, 加上baby wrap抱着)

发帖数: 1350 | 6 请教版上宝妈，不考虑第二排中间，rear-facing convertible car seat 是放在第二
排左边（driver后面）还是第二排右边（passenger后面）好?我觉得应该基于以下几点
考虑：
1）安全性。之前我给宝宝用的infant car seat是放在第二排左边（driver后面）的，
应该是查过资料知道这个位置对infant是相对最安全的。对toddler，这个位置应该还
是最安全的吧？
2）方便性。这个是指把宝宝（toddler）放上和抱出car seat的时候。左右大体上应该
没有什么区别吧，看具体情况（比如车在家中garage的停放位置）。可以考虑的场合是
比如需要在路边把宝宝抱下车的时候，这个应该是右边（即curb side一侧）更安全些。
3）车上交流。这个是不是宝宝在右边更好些，因为开车时向斜后方可以部分地看到宝
宝的手脚动作。
综合看当然还是安全性最重要。如果对toddler的rear-facing convertible car seat
仍然是第二排左边最安全，那其他因素都是次要的。

booster seat加汽车安全带么？还有个问题是convertible car seat座位的base很高，把娃抱
上抱下真累人。
大家有没有用这种car seat的？既有五点固定的安全带，也可以变成booster seat。除
了Britax还有什么牌子的这种座椅好，Britax好是好就是太贵。

你婆婆的理论有道理，那么多科学家真是吃白饭的了，设计出这么让老人家worry的
infant car seat。法律不是随便规定的，没有科学实验做依据，法律不会凭空产生的。
刚才去NG看了看，相比之下，这里的回帖已经客气多了！目前你如果按照你婆婆的方法
让孩子坐car seat,我只能替你祈祷你千万别出车祸了。那样平躺着，一旦出车祸，孩
子受到的伤害绝对更大，不信你自己调研吧 |

我看楼主可能为了经济考虑，买的不是infant car seat, 弄了个convertible, 所以新
生婴儿坐在里面确实兜不住，需要垫子，不然的话会滑出来。楼主去买个infant car
seat就解决了，不需要那么多唠叨。Infant car seat的角度跟convertible不一样。
其实就算是infant car seat, 新生儿头颈没力的时候，也很容易歪倒一遍，所以楼主
担心的不是全无理由，只不过她不太相信厂家的设计比她婆婆的设想更加科学一点。话
说回来，美国那么多婴儿产品召回，厂家的设计有的时候也挺雷人的。比如婴儿床drop
side, 我从来就觉得不是个好的主意。 |

听朋友说起这个CAR SEAT，觉得能３６０度转似乎很方便啊。因为侧着身子固定宝宝实
在很费劲。
不知道有用过的没？能给说说吗？
比较大的一个CONCERN是，up to 33 pounds rear-facing and 40 pounds forward-
facing。 一般几岁的宝宝要到４０磅了呀？毕竟这CAR SEAT也不便宜。

结果有一个问题怎么都想不通。
网上说infant car seat的一个优点是上车下车不用吵醒宝宝，因为可以直接拎着篮子
走。但是，下了车，如果用stroller，那还是要把宝宝从car seat上解下来，然后放到
stroller上呀。
不需要吵醒宝宝的办法我能想到的就两种：
（1）真的直接拎着篮子走上走下，这种情况要么是大力士，要么只能买很轻的car
seat（好像只有 maxi cosi有？）。
（2）用stroller frame。
反过来说，如果是用travel system或者是standard stroller就一定会把宝宝吵醒。这
样子的话，travel system和standard stroller不是很鸡肋吗？
是不是我的理解有什么问题？ |

The mileage is very low for its age: between 69000 and 70000 miles.
I haven't driven it much the past 6 years (battery is less than 2 years old)
. It is a backup car for me, hence the low mileage. I got another car that
is retiring so that I don't need two backup cars.
It runs very well and can go long distance (I drove it between Milwaukee and

I have a used car for sale. This is a 2003 Hyundai Sonata GLS Sedan
4D, white color, auto transmission, sliding sun roof. This car has an
exceptionally low mileage (38,000) due to infrequent use. Its mechanical
conditions are excellent and it has never had a single problem. I maintained
the car regularly and all the four tires were just changed in 2009. Hyundai
has a 100000 miles/10 years warranty on their cars. I think the warranty
can be transferred to the next owner.

六月份去Denver在Alamo租了两周的车，中间正好赶上一次冰雹，
还车的时候被告知车被雹子砸了，需要修理，具体数额需要进一步评估。
因为有AMEX的premium car－rental insurance，也不太担心
直接file了claim，然后不管了。
大概9月份的时候收到Alamo的账单，修理费加管理费以及loss of use等
乱七八糟的加在一起4600多。当时就觉得租车公司太黑，还好有AMEX的
保险，也不用怎么操心。
11月份收到AMEX的最终赔偿清单，赔了3900多，还剩下700多的样子，
说是loss of use的300多需要utilization log才能赔付，剩下的
administration fee什么的他们不管。比较郁闷，暂时放在一边。
