吧,现代人吸烟就是一个主要因素;乳腺癌吧,现代人晚生晚育和激素疗法也是一个重要
因素诱因,而家族性乳腺癌(BRAC1/2变异)所占的比例却是少的.所以,把cancer作为人类
进化相关的疾病,勉强吧.不过,人类的cancer易感基因应该也是存在的,易感基因进化的
差异导致不同人群对cancer的易感性不一样?
但是,虽然可能不同人群携带的易感基因有差异,如果没有现代的环境因素(外因)作为诱
因,这种差异就没有意义.退一步说,即使这些环境因素是cancer易感基因进化的动力,但

看editorial board就知道AACR对这个杂志有很大期望.

本来想继续在现在的学校读Ph.D，但是感觉老板给安排的课题会做不出来，而自己
提出的课题，老板又没钱搞；而且老板现在深陷在系里的政治斗争中，被打得
焦头烂额，且已“城门失火殃及池鱼”。于是想申请外校2006秋季入学，

I know two cancer survivors.
One is my 'old' neighbor in Beijing and she has survived 14 years already (
she is 73 now). The other one is my coworker's aunt living in Canada and she
has survived 30 years (now 70).
李敖 had prostate cancer 7 years ago. He looks good.
There are also a bunch of bad cases. For example, my manager's great
grandfather (lived in midwest) died from stage 4 lung cancer only two months
after diagnosis.

Sweden has determined that men who regularly work out with weights are 30-40
percent less likely to die from a cancerous tumor.
The results, which were published in the Cancer Epidemiology journal, were
based on a study of 8,677 men aged 20 to 82 over a twenty three year time
span. Each volunteer in the study had regular medical check ups that
included comprehensive measurements of their muscular strength.
