The suspect, a white male armed with what one witness described as an X-Acto

Harris County Sheriff Adrian Garcia said police received a 911 call at 11:12

到明年一月初。因为买了房子6月22号要提前搬走，按和同如果无人续租要陪early

老板租金涨的比较多，按老的合同续租应该能省不少。

，一般多久后会有 follow-up?
interview 结束时，chair 跟我说要take两周时间来决定on-campus finalist。 自我
感觉还不错，每个问题都充分准备了，整个过程有说有笑的，跟我想像的interview一
点都不一样，有两次那个chair好像笑得都忘了要问啥了。有一个问题的回答可能不好
，就是一个senior faculty问我大概需要什么多少startup funding 来购买设备时，我
说的那个数比市价少了将近一半。没当过PI, 不知道柴米油盐贵啊。也确实没想到他会
问这个问题。
最近还有另外一个，正在准备中。个人感觉，人肉search committee还是很重要的，多
挑他们爱听的讲，面试过程就会和谐很多。人嘛，哪都是一样的，faculty也不例外。 |

觉得自己表现还行,不到完美、但真的尽力了。
talk的部份大家事后都跟我说讲得很好、很有准备(或许是客气说说?),
后来的meeting大致上还行,
但有些tough questions没答好,大概2-3个,
如要怎么帮忙扩展学校名声、还有要申请哪些specific grants,
心里当时没个底,有点胡乱说,唉。
回来发了thank-you notes,
几个老师人挺好的有回信,但我心里知道就是一个礼貌形式,说不准的,
主要是一直很热心的search committee chair这次反而没回信,
让我心里更加忐忑了。
这个感恩节不好过啊呵呵,
这是dream school+dream location (终于不用跟家人分开了),
我后头似乎还有两个candidate要面试(我是第一个),所以有得等了...
跪求祝福!!!希望能顺利拿到offer,一定上来回馈面经。 |
