近700人参加，分两组：比赛组跑5KM；另一组跑2.5 KM。
就一个字：热。5KM跑完，心差点没从口中吐出来。虽然做了热身活动，肌肉在赛完疼
得不行。我特别怕在有太阳的天气里跑，疲劳感特别快就来临，瞬间的绝望感只有靠暗
地里自骂才能被喝退。5KM距离虽然不长，跑完了比平时练10KM还累，还悲催。

不知道哪里没做好，我觉得job talk和teaching demo我都做到了我能做的最好
现在跟我说是third candidate，那基本就没戏了：（
这campus interview到底最重要的是啥？我在系里也试讲过job talk，都说我做得很好
，而我自我感觉是正式talk的时候发挥得更好一点。至于教课，一直都在教，应该都没
有什么问题

C上周director电面后，很快发了on campus visit request，给了5个时间选 （9月-11
月）。我目前在等B校potential offer，大概八月有结果。A 校potential onsite在C
校两小时地方，大概八月中有消息。
请教大家，我如何回复这个request email?
1. 告知我在等potential offer,如果没有，就去on campus visit，还有另一个onsite
visit 在附近，让对方把时间安排在一起。
2. 直接withdraw application。感觉在offers里面选，拒绝谁都不好。
3. 一直拖到下月，再告知on site 时间。

1. 文章数目肯定是越多越好。现在学校都注重这些，即使TEACHING-ORIENTED
2. 根据经验，好象CAMPUS应该是1:3的比例。学校也要找备胎，他们看中别人，人家还
不一定看中学校，或者有更好的选择。
3 & 4 电面以后好象一般都是干等着，联系不联系作用不大。尤其不能问是否在ON
CAMPUS的LIST里面。 |

如果是A学校的F1身份，是不是只能找A校自己的on campus job，如果是B校的校内工作
呢，法律是否允许？如果在B校注册了non degree的课程，有B校的学生证，邮箱，学号
等等。。。不过I－20是A校发的，但是还在有效期内。

然后有点着急就去套了教授（department chair），
谈了些专业问题。
然后他说还有希望，邀请我去campus visit.他说他整个四月
都有时间，最好是周五，让我选个时间。我周五都有时间，
纠结的是应该4.15之后去呢，还是之前去。之前去，还不
知道其他人接受offer了没，很可能竹篮打水一场空。之后去
又怕有offer被别人拿走了。
申请的学校少，现在还在一个牛校的waiting list上，不过
不抱什么希望了。而且那个学校离这里（LG）也挺远的。
