几个保留地都是以Cahuilla为主。那张图不是盘子，是Cahuilla人编的草筐。
Cahuilla basketry很有名气，号称能把草筐编得滴水不漏，所以Cahuilla人
在历史上很晚才开始制作陶器。

崩溃。科罗拉多河开始将绝大部分的流量倾入Imperial 盆地，这个决口直到两年之后才
被完全堵上。泄漏所留出来的水无路可去，都汇集到了Imperial盆地的中央的Lake Cah
uilla，也就是塞尔顿海的前身中。Lake Cahuilla 据认为一度是非常大的水体，其水线
一度在300年前达到了在今天的塞尔顿海平面之上13米多。这两年的大量淡水补充，使得
Lake Cahuilla的面积重新扩充。这个浅浅的大湖，被改名为塞尔顿海。 |

跟Healy mm在隔壁楼里提起印地安音乐，触及多年来“最爱”之一，干脆
另开一帖，晒晒近来搜罗的一些视频。
说起印第安人的声乐，大多数人的基本印象来自中西部Sioux、Cheyenne
等等在马背上扬名的部族，而且主要是war songs，其声高亢激越，大致
类此：

印地安文化确实有点意思，都在北美这一片，相互之间文化差异不下于亚非
欧。单从音乐而言，从东边的Iroquois、Algonquin到中西部的Lakota、
Cheyenne到俺们西南角的Navajo、Cahuilla，风格各自截然不同，确实是
完全不同的nation。
