了120k的chrisotpher peacock的cabinetry（for 15X15的厨房）还是plywood
construction。outlet里哪个牌子看着不cheap?我看那些中国买的欢的burberry 的包

什么达芬奇，反正你去真正的custom cabinetry（美国本地的cabinetry maker，不是
中国进口，carpenter给你先做的那种）也不是全实木的，因为实木承重或者遇水后容
易变形，多贵的cabinet都不是全实木的。当然你非要要求全实木的话，只要你交钱人
家肯定会给你做，耐用不耐用那是另外一回事，别做的样式经典但是耐用度却不经典。
restoration hardware你要想买全实木的，可以看看他家的百年barnwood餐桌，全实木
，重的要死，不是现在用的新木头做的家居那样没有质感。我家正在装修，contractor
一直告诉我别认为是hardwood就是好东西，如果是pine什么的，耐用度特别差，还容易
变形；mahogney真是好东西；fine furniture用的mahogney什么的现在几乎没有，即使
是fine furniture maker也得用veneer，没有办法，审美决定的。当然你不介意审美，

台面要换MARBLE就行， GRANITE当然是好，但一般人看以为是石头台面都一样， 其实后
者比前者贵很多， 同样大理石价格从55/平尺到100多一般人也看不出差别来， 至于塑料
贴面台面就算了
柜子可以找人把门和抽屉面都换了， 不动后面柜子， 他们叫KITCHEN CABINETRY FACE
LIFTING， 比大拆大换省不少
STAINLESS STEEL厨具要看厨房整体装修的材料，款式， 如果不是很现代的室内反倒不和
谐，另外不锈钢一摸一个手印，平常清理费劲，如果你们打算多住一段，不如弄套便宜的
考瓷的炉子冰箱微波炉， 反正这些东西对真做饭的人来说很难保持一尘不染的状态的，
等卖房时再环套新的

房要7000-10000左右。现在基本上RTA橱柜都是大陆生产的，在大陆生产的橱柜中，犹
太人开的厂生产的质量比香港人开厂的质量要稍好，然后比大陆人开厂生产的要好很多。
另外我看到过的RTA橱柜还有TSG和Fabuwood，TSG好像是华人开厂的，Fabuwood是犹太
人开厂的，Fabuwood价位比TSG略低。两个牌子看上去都不错。
costco的allwood 在homedepot也有卖，名字不一样，叫hampton bay cabinetry，式样
完全一样，如果从costco买，可以引用hampton bay的名字，说不定还能便宜10%。另外
Cabinet Liquidators也卖同样的产品。 |

1. Easier to keep clean -- It's less crowded and has much more storage room.
Yon don't see mess anywhere. The master closet is huge so no stacks of
clothing on the floor anymore. Kitchen is huge too with seasoning rack,

照着他给的联系方式去了湾区这家中国店，J&K Cabinetry， 接待我的是一个叫K的贱
男，号称是他家的sale manager，当时选了柜子就让contractor开工了，装修进行到后
阶段橱柜的门需要装把手了，我就问我的contractor在哪里买的，他说是网上给订的，
当时我家baby才3个多月，我也忙一团乱，我就想反正J&K家的show room上的门把手看
上去还可以，也就没多想去他家直接买了30多个，结果装的时候师傅就跟我抱怨说质量
不好，装的过程中就坏了好几个，好在我当时多买了几个也就凑合的装上了，后来我就
回国了3个多月，厨房可以说根本没怎么用，这一回来才过了几天就发现又坏了几个，
一拉整个把手就掉下来了，我也很郁闷，如果全换了不光钱的问题而且又得让人来装，
于是今天我带了娃就又跑了趟J&K，去了之后我就跟K说我还要配几个门把手，他查了也
有货，然后我就抱怨了一下说这个把手质量不好，结果他立马就翻脸了，说：我家是只

的位置，这样厨房的整体性比较好，但是担心这样一个房间里面，在墙的几乎是正中位
置放一个通garage的门，会不会很怪呢？坐在沙发上看电视的时候斜对着一个garage的
门会很怪吗？总觉得garage的门房在比较角落会好一点。 我会尽量吧这个门往下面放
，但是这样会cut掉厨房的cabinetry space了。
大家怎么看，我已经纠结了很久了，来来回回和designer反复了好几次 ：（，真是太
优柔寡断了。

The kitchen with custom cabinetry, painted perimeter cabinets and a cherry
stained island will be $25,500 installed.
我们的厨房面积大概是300, 但是有柜子的大概只有两面墙, 加起来不到20尺长的地方
有挂在墙上的柜子, 这些柜子都是用maple做的, 打算漆成白色. 中央岛是8尺长的, 用
cherry做, stain成深色. 据Builder讲, 这家做橱柜的是他一直用的, 质量非常好. 我
们可以自己去找橱柜, 不过如果价钱差别不大的话, 就打算用builder的了.
请问大家, 这个价钱是不是有点太贵了? |

Hi, I forgot to wipe off the excess stain when I did my second coat of
minwax stain on my cabinets. now I have sticky cabinet doors. It's been two
days and they are still sticky, does that mean they are still wet? I need to
put the poly on but I'm afraid I've screwed this up. I hope I don't have to
sand them again because I'm tired of sanding. Any advise would be great.

发帖数: 5958 | 49 版上考古发现可以用plywood做床板，我妈最近腰不好想去搞两个。结果去看了一
圈，被我爹鄙视了。他貌似对木头比较熟悉，说了一堆松木板杉木版啥的，我也弄不清
。大致就是说plywood那种是绝对不能用来做床板的，说时间长了会变潮，还会析出来
有味道的东西。他倒是觉得oak的比较好，但又没有阔的，自己钉的话很麻烦。反正最
后没买成，憋了一肚子气。
版上有睡plywood的能给确认一下没有问题吗？
