paper jam.
It worked to some degree after I cleaned the drum using ethyl alcohol, but
it still has lines/fuzzy prints. I can even see the residual droplet shape (
from the alcohol washing/cleaning).
After I bought a Brother 2240 as a backup at Staples for $40 + tax last week
, my old brother 2140 suddenly becomes better. Almost all the lines/
background spots were gone, strange. Now, it is usable, but it still has a

以前买过brother all in one,打印不错，但是复印太慢了，不知道现在的型号是不是
都改变有所提高，我主要是要用复印功能，打印有BROTHER, 如果考虑复印为主的话，
是不是还是选CANON好，现在用的CANON，需要换CATRIDGE了，所以就考虑重新买个复印
机，当然如果能有ALL IN ONE LASER的那种那是最好了，这样家里重复的东西就可以扔
掉点，辐射太厉害了，谢谢大家 |

静电复印机使用的粉按照静电上电方式可以分为2类:
硒鼓上施加正电荷的,墨粉必须能被正电荷所吸引,这类粉叫正电粉
硒鼓上施加负电荷的,叫负电粉
另外,墨粉从墨盒到硒鼓,还必须通过一个橡胶的transfer roller,墨粉
怎么从墨盒到trasnfer rollder,一般也有2种方式,比如以HP为代表的,
是用磁铁将墨粉吸引到transfer roller上,所以墨粉必须有磁性,另一种
以brother为代表的,是直接将roller浸没在墨粉里,所以墨粉不需要有磁性.
所以这世界上的墨粉可以这样分成四类:
有磁性正电粉,没磁性正电粉,有磁性负电粉,没磁性负电粉.互相都不能互换
brother所有产品都是无磁性正电粉,brother这种方式非常罕见,市场上大多数
打印机复印机都是用负电粉,因为毕竟电子带负电,感光鼓上charge负电荷很容易. |
