在中国只有国标，在美国有两套标准舞，国际标准舞和美国标准舞：美标上手简单些，
国标要练至silver级才能出样子。
需不需要舞蹈底子看你学这玩意儿是啥目的，好多人学bronze级只为社交和大家乐呵乐
呵，这样偏重lead and follow technique，若想参加比赛最好还是有点舞蹈底子筋骨
练软一点，没有也没关系因为大家都从pre-bronze不会有谁特别强过谁
国标拉丁有chacha, rumba, samba, jive, paso doble；美标韵律有chacha, rumba,
mambo, east coast swing, bolero；除了标准舞之外，拉丁舞还有salsa, bachata,
merengue,junta，后面这四个老墨club比较常见，除了salsa其他的都比标准舞易学
费用方面完全看你想投进去多少，舞鞋预算50刀，牛皮底的2-3英寸高跟鞋可以代替，
上课要看你找的老师是什么等级的，我不建议一开始去fred astaire, arthur murray
之类的连锁舞蹈教室，他们要钱太多能有50-90刀一小时。最好 |

如果MVLA的U11二队有U12的三队的相对水平，我小孩早就会加入MVLA了。不想让她以后
踢ECNL，因此才没有去。但是现在在重新考虑所有的比较实际的选择。附近比较近地方
的U11比U12实在差太多了。
不要太累了，否则心力和体力都会变得过度疲惫。
这样也不错。Montoya人真的是很不错。好像他带的队很少有turnover。另外他带的队
在好的大学教练们面前曝光度非常高。
总体来说，Norcal Premier比CalNorth的水平高些。不要去bronze踢，接受挑战的方面
有限。我小孩对U13比过5场（进了四个球，也有不少次助攻或创造了很好的得分机会）
，对U14比过2场（创造了一些机会，在边路靠速度和灵活很突出）。速度太慢了，但是
有不少个头非常高的。Norcal Premier的U12 gold总体上比U13 bronze应该明显强不少。 |

1)Ironman是什么？
这个是FullTilt为了吸引更多常客的一种优惠计划，根据每个月每天获得的FTP points
, 有四种不同的级别：
Iron, 玄铁级
Gold, 黄金级
Silver, 白银级
Bronze, 青铜级
每个级别所需的点数，可以在：
Cashier -> My Promotions -> Ironman Challenge页面下查看，比如最高级玄铁，需
要在一个月中，有25天(不需要连续)，每天达到200点以上。其他级别递减。
2)成为Ironman有什么好处?
对于中小stake，但是比较经常玩的玩家，主要好处有以下几点：
a) 获得mid-year和end-year红利
mid-year计算前6个月，每个级别的红利为$100, $75, $50, $25。比如你在前6个月中
，有3个月达到了ironman任何级别的要求，例如2个月是gold，1个月是bronze，那么你

金属的这组是有一点贵，不过真的很值得收藏。如果手头不富裕，可以试试Bronze，我

。一个月的课结束，我们这些新手就被迫去参加年度的哈佛新手大赛。这个活动也是哈佛
的传统，在每年秋天早些时候把new comer和bronze放一起聚聚，也好为接下来的真比赛热
热身。我当时并非很热心的要去，可是一个漂亮朋友问我是否愿意和她一起去，我就勉强
同意了。
我们要比赛的是American style的foxtrot和east coast swing.这俩我们学得最好，因为
哈佛team总是这样的,先安排些相对简单的american style的诱饵，然后把我们给诱进int
ernational style. Foxtrot里头我们就学了些“slow,slow,quick,quick”，promenade,
和underarm turn。这点东西刚够我们在场子里边逛逛而不用停下来的。SWing里边我们也
只是知道一些简单的，如change places, 停步/启动，和一两个bronze的花样。因为我从
来没有和她跳过（我忘了为什么当时没有和我分配好的舞伴跳了）。我们决定赛前大略排

novice是一个级别比较高的水平。我先给你个顺序吧。
职业级别只有两个：open 和 rising star. open的选手不能参加rising star 级
别的比赛。但是新手可以参加open级别的比赛。
业余组从底到高的顺序是：newcomer, bronze, silver, gold, pre-novice, novi
ce, pre-championship, championship
一般来讲，gold 和其以前的级别都是只能跳基本布的(syllabus figures). 而pr
e-novice 和其后的级别是跳什么都行的。有些比赛规定pre-novice 只能跳syllab
us figures.
这个水平级别排列顺序是肯定没错的。但是有的时候，pre-novice里的人不见得比
gold里的人跳得好。不过那时另外一回事。
另外，我再次祝贺latiner dd在这次比赛中有如此好的成绩。你们都还年轻，只要
稍加时日，前途无量！

发帖数: 109 | 25 1。锻炼身体不能放松--从九月到现在每周难得去锻炼一次（从前每周至少4次），辛苦练
出的肌肉损失了不少，体重降了十几磅。抵抗力也差了很多，赶在比赛的头一天生病，比
赛期间每天只有4，5个小时的觉睡又不敢吃那些让人犯困的药，实在是苦不堪言，对于状
态的影响很大，尤其是在场上不容易集中精力
2。要开始重视social dance，我们的队按程度分A,B,C三组，好几对C组的和我们B参加同
一级别的比赛结果比我们成绩好不少，主要原因就是他们在social dance中极为活跃从来
不拉，在Bronze/Silver的比赛中，第一轮每个heat有25对挤在一起的情况下他们能够很
从容地应付，虽然从技术角度上很多地方不到位，但是能够流畅完成动作，占了不少优势
3。要能够迅速调整心态，不要因为太想赢而给自己施加太大压力，否则只能适得其反
4。Bronze/Silver第一轮的动作一定要简单，特别是今年组织者为了省时间100多对
couple竟然惨无人道地分成了4组来跳第一轮（去年比今年人还略少些但是分了至少6组）
，bacl lock, weave 之类的男的后退的动作尽量少用，不然极容易撞上人 |

btw,我们录了大概6－7个小时的collegiate comp的比赛，从New Comer一路向上：
Bronze, Silver, Gold, Novice, Pre-champion, Champion,每个级别的决赛基本上
都录下来了。
这下我们有了整套的学习资料了！大家平时自己练习和聚会练习有了示范，效果会好得多
。
还有一点补充，这次比赛才真正见识了team中一些Stars 或 Rising Stars的实力，真是
惊艳啊。
和他们中的一些聊了聊，更是吃惊非常：好多现在跳得极好的也才开始学舞1－3年而已。
比如跳Novice的Jason,还有Kostas(得了一项冠军），分别是从3.5年和两年前开始学习的
。帅得一塌糊涂的Rainer/Lisa，居然才学了一年多一点，去年还是New Comer，今年已经
在Bronze的比赛中游刃有余，屡屡闯进决赛获奖了。
