之所以大家签字是因为亚裔间也有很多不同意见，最高法庭需要确实的数据证明我们亚
裔到底是怎么样想的。
现在已经有4个其他的亚裔组织表示要支持‘族裔优先’的入学政策，80-20是唯一一个
我知道的亚裔组织在帮大家支持取消大学考虑‘族裔’这个标准，而转而用更公平的’
social economic background'来的代替。
这个案子已经有被告和原告，已经到了最高法庭。我们现在刚好可以搭顺风车，用民意调查的结果，请好的律师来准备“法律之友”的文件来影响法官的意见。最高法院需要有数据支持才能更好的做决定。

的时候在学校面了4家公司，但是因为身份问题，3家都没给我offer，还有一家，不太
对口，我自己放弃了。毕业之后才开始了人海飘萍的找工生活，失去了在学校有career
service的很多优势，我只能抱着有个工作就好的态度去找工作了。
总结了以下一些心得：
1. 个人定位。 这一点可以反映在找工作的方向和简历的编排中。先来说说找工作的方
向。一般网站上都可以设alert。我除了设普通的“accountant”这个 alert之外，还
设了“mandarin，accountant”。这第二个就比较specific，更match我们的优势。我
的第二个offer就是这么来的。因为凡是有中国背景的、在中国有业务的公司，都希望
能找相似的candidate。所以这个定位就是看自己有什么，公司要什么。另外在简历上
也要突出自己的优势。在这里要感谢《休斯顿会计求职记》的作者PARKER 201011。看

大家感觉哪一个更给力？brief communication这种类型不会发出来被人瞧不上吧。哪

【摘要】急性应激障碍（ASD）又称为急性应激反应（ASR），是对恐怖或创伤事件产生
的心理反应。ASD以急剧、严重的创伤事件作为直接原因，患者在受刺激后立即（1小时
之内）发病。ASD的常见症状是麻木；情感分离；缄默；现实感丧失；人格解体；心因
性遗忘；对经历的创伤事件和思想的重新体验、做梦和闪回；对事件的回避。在这段时
间里，患者存在着焦虑症状和至少一个基本功能的损害。症状至少持续3天，最多不超
过4周；并发生于创伤事件之后的4周之内。
美国精神病学会在2013年5月出版了《精神疾病诊断与统计手册》第5版（DSM-5）。DSM

下面是我女儿在高中三年级（2015-2016学年）选修高中《美国历史大学先修课》（AP
American History）时所写的学期论文（junior thesis）。本地高中学生一般公认高
中文科最具挑战的课程就是《美国历史大学先修课》。我女儿总体上比较爱好理工科课
程，对我这个文科专业的父亲来说，总觉得高中文科的课程也是极有意义的。然而我女
儿是一名多年参加体操俱乐部系统训练（每周要有20多小时的体操训练，还要加上外出
参加比赛的时间）的运动员，因此对选修这门阅读量很大的美国历史大学先修课程颇有
顾虑。我考虑到这门课程的对女儿的阅读，思维和写作都有很大帮助，就极力鼓励她选
修这门课程，并且“保证”如果学期成绩只能获得B也不会有所“责难”。最后女儿“
不知深浅”地选修了这门高中文科重头课程，即使在就读期间她还一直有点“耿耿于怀
”。
