couldn't care less about a love story set in down and under during WWII. And
Nicole Kidman has been a boxoffice poison for the last couple of years. As
for Hugh Jackman, he is still not a boxoffice draw without the Wolvrine (sp?
) claws. I'm sure it will do extremely will in Oz and UK, but that's as far
as its success goes. And frankly speaking, the teaser is generic at best.

The point is to project Avatar's boxoffice based on its own
past numbers.
Anything less than 45m this coming weekend is an instant
knockout by Titanic in domestic boxoffice. That possibility
cannot be ruled out now with the 12% drop on Thursday.
I would say right now it's fairly safe to say Titanic's domestic
record will hold. |

今天是多伦多电影节首日公开卖票,我晨早六点几到达boxoffice,原来一早已排满了人
龙,足足排了四个钟才轮到我,可是...[狄公]怎?这?厉害,哎~星期日那场只剩一张票,星
期五full晒,我只能抢到两张星期四晚的票跟朋友看!!!原本约好多伦多fans星期日看的
计划,现在泡汤了！我放工后刚好又经boxoffice,走去八下销售情况,sold out、只余少
量门票的都会贴上label,[狄公]三场都贴了贴纸,那套[尘憎]、[唐山大地震]一个贴纸
都?,即系重有大把飞卖

would be 90m or so, no matter what the weather is.
My major considerations were the theater count (3400+, pretty
low) and the length of the movie (2h 30m, pretty long). |
