waiting for opening at Everett Bright Horizons (Boeing Family Center) which
is closer to home and my work place. Bothell campus is located inside of an
office building, it's 50% more expensive than the Everett campus and also
the classroom is about 50% smaller -_-. But staff was friendly. My son only
got sick once when he went out on a buggy ride and didn't have enough
clothes on.

greateschool主要根据学生的math/reading/writing/science成绩进行排名。USNEWS主
要根据学生参加AP考试的数量进行排名。BSD 最近十几年push学生参加AP考试，结果
USNEWS排名直逼全国前列。不过如果仔细看一下AP average score,你会发觉
itisjustsoso.
比如根据你连接里的数据，ignore AP只考虑math/reading,（实际上writing/science
也应占比重）东边几个学校大约如下（排除两个International, 括号为USNEWS
ranking）,另外这个数据应该不是最新的，Bothell 最近一两年考试成绩应该很好，这
上面只是排名最后。

我看到网上的分数，ShoreCrest high 8分，bothell high 和inglemoor high 都是10
分。
他比bothell high 好在哪里呢？
听说inglemoor high 有IB program， 那bothell high 也有他自己强的地方吧？

房贷压力太大。2月中旬初涉房市，从此生活陷入了焦虑，虐心中，纠结在房子的新旧
，commute远近，还有一个就是所谓的学区。学区这东西其实是多种因素综合作用的结
果，虽然近几年用不到，不过也在考量之中。 看的区包括Sammamish, Isaaquah,
Bellevue, Redmond, Kirkland, Kenmore, Bothell, Woondinville. 总的来说比较喜
欢新房子，但是又不想住太远。
现在有两个地方房子再考虑中，一个是Bothell 228 street, 39 ave那里现在盖了不少
新SFH，61，62万的样子，2800+尺，4 bedroom, 房子质量感觉不错，floor plan也很

在意校区就买Bothell,northshore是挺有名的好校区。在意小学的话看看south

发帖数: 4591 | 18 因为个人觉得这次的旅行3天计划安排的挺紧凑和有效，所以写个简单的路线版本，用
来给大家做个reference。简单的说就是，第一天看海，第二天看湖，第三天看雪山。
Oregon州实在太美了，还没有消费税，3天内欣赏美景留恋忘返不愿归家。。。：）
7月4日早上5点半出发，7月6日晚上11点回到家，全程共行1000多迈。
day1：从俺家bothell出发，沿着101西海岸经Astoria跨海大桥进入Oregon州，先去
cannon beach，逛风情小镇，再继续沿101南下，沿途还能看到几个非常赞的beach，特
别是在Lincon City。去Florence可以看沙丘，玩沙上赛车。行程为：bothell,
WA->Astoria->Cannon beach->Lincon City->New Port->Florence->Rosebug。
住在Rosebug的Quality Inn，价格为90块一晚，距crater lake 100迈处。
day2: 一整天在crater lake看湖。行程为：Roseburg->crater lake->Bend。住在Bend
的Comfort |

查学校的具体情况。上中文学校更不是问题，如果是bellevue的话，走高速一刻钟就到

发帖数: 104 | 26 大家的建议很中肯呢，我们现在还没有孩子，所以不是特别着急这个教育问题，主要是担
心买的房子如果不在相对好些的区，贬值得太厉害。而且看楼上mm说的，9分跟10分学校区
别不大的话，我也放心了很多，我看bothell大部分的high school还是10分的，只是
elem是9分，所以这样看来，Bothell是个很好的选择啊！
ps另一个问题：买新房到底要不要找agent啊？是不是没有讨价还价的空间？还是跟
builder直接谈？有的builder好像还指定agent，所以到底应该怎么办呢？

再下一等的附近只有inglemoor.

以前不知他家有这个，昨天点了一个，妈呀，实在是棒，新鲜的烤馍，跟国内一模一样
，我总觉得能烤成这样，应该是很有经验才做的到，可以前御膳好像没这道菜，肉也很
棒，强烈推荐。还第一次点了炒饼，立马就找回到了高中学校门口的小吃部的感觉。
点的煎饼果子忘了给摸酱豆腐了，于是担心他们换师傅了，可明明听见说天津话的师傅
在厨房里大声吆喝。感觉他们煎饼果子这次的白面放的有些多。
我不是托，但确实隔段时间就大老远去捧捧场，实在是有点远。

Bothell现在中国人好像不多,但是越来越多的中国人往那边去, NorthShore学区有几个

going to meet at Bothell Park&Ride (10223 Woodinville Dr
Bothell, WA) at 8:45AM on 10/20th (Sunday). We will leave the P&R at 9:00AM
sharp. If you will be late, just catch up with us on route WA-2. We will use
the 15-min to decide carpooling, exchanging cell numbers and getting to
