with Prestige package, Ibs White + Baseball optic leather seats.
给出的价格是51050，比true car上的best local price 高了200刀，想想和人家争这
200刀的差价也没什么意思，不一定能降低，不如就多付200然后大家都高兴，以后有什
么的话还好说花。但是比起New Jersey的黑心dealer来的话好多了。NJ开口就要54000.
然后2500刀的down payment还要820刀一个月。
Audi Manhattan最后加上了baseball optic seats，51370刀，lease 39 months，690
刀/month，no down payment。
估计要等到7月底才能提到车。终于，人生中的第一辆车入手了，以后周末就能出去散

附近的修车店。刚开到店门口就熄火了。
修车师傅看了说是水箱水管老化破了，水漏了，水跑到气缸，然后引擎可能烧坏了。
花了三百把水箱换了，师傅检测了下，说水箱温度很容易升高，就是引擎报废了，换要
三千到四千。
现在我想请教，是花个三四千换引擎（后来有个老墨师傅说2000以内能rebuild engine）
还使直接卖Junk比较合算？
车子是05年的Camry，13万miles,其它没有问题，就是外观两个个角都有baseball大的凹
处，一个角baseball大的洞。
Quote了下，引擎修好了，现在差不多可以卖4500吧，卖Junk可能1500.我觉得还是卖

的时候树叶肯定会掉到 gutter 里. 于是就买了 gutter cover 装上去, 特容易装,
不需要任何工具,就直接套在 gutter 就可以了, 比装浴廉还容易. 这个除了防树叶外,
还可以档住网球,baseball 等东西, 上次 gutter 堵了就是因为有个 baseball 跑了
上去, 然后再加上树叶,就堵了. 有楼梯,装房子一边的 gutter 用的时间不会超过 10

儿子,13-18岁样子, 老大游泳队, 老二football, 老三baseball. 他每天晚上和周末在
搞这些, 有时上班也在画football chart, 他对老二老三还满意, 但他说对老大犯错了
, 老大10岁退出baseball, 现在老大自己都后悔当时小还不懂自己要做啥. 老三也是那
年龄要退, 他让他再试一年, 不喜欢就退, 结果一直喜欢下去了. 他也说为了这些小孩
自己暂时不追求promotion啥的, 等他们都搞定了再努力工作.我说那你自己打过对他们
很有帮助, dinner time, in the car, 可以探讨提高, 他听了很同意也很开心.估计做
业余教练也是为了孩子.
老美也不是放养的, 他们注重的不同, 我有很多同事都很上心小孩, 小时候是social,
然后慢慢sports. 我有另一美国同事是妈妈, 儿子和我家的上过同一daycare班, 后来

社交可以推. 当然推啥都不如天生这样好, 这大家都知道.我的那个妈妈同事, 幼儿园
有点啥屁事都第一个冲上去, 有时是帮幼儿园的忙, 有时是参与小朋友竞赛, 比如鬼节
,每人家开车去打扮成一啥(我忘了那英文了)然后幼儿园小朋友来你的车要糖.那时又花
钱又花心丝的一班老中不会干的, 她还拿了个第一名.向这种事收获就是小孩的自信心,
感觉自己在那个群里挺好.小孩也POPULAR. 我工作就坐她边上, 老看她早下班去忙这种
事. 我当时一点都没参与, 后来小孩离开这学校后她就点了我一下 (关系比较好, 一班
老美没这么有空跟你讲大白话).
我觉得中国人还是要读书好, 咱们这么容易就读好为啥不干, 小孩正好是钢琴天才也不
错. 就是看多了这儿写在幼儿园被歧视, 小孩内向等等, 我觉得老美有些做法可以参考
. 你想你是学校积极大分子,能有这么多人故意要欺负你小孩么, 闪你还来不级,你不活
跃,硬要人家小孩活跃外向还领导能力, 那也不能从天上掉下来. 咱老中翻身可以多员化.

我一直觉得推体育比推功课好，对娃的体质好，对娃的性格也好。 不过话又说回来，
这么多年过来，深刻觉得如果想推娃的体育，对父母来说实在是一件挺难的事，大家如
果有这方面的打算，要做好思想准备。
首先，要让娃爱体育爱锻炼，单单报个体育班一般来说是不够的，让他一个人去练习也
是不可能的，所以首先做父母的要改变自己的生活方式，要舍得花时间陪孩子锻炼。放
学后，周末要常去公园玩球啊，扔飞盘啊，滑旱冰啊等等。这个对我其实很困难，因为
我其实很不喜欢动更喜欢爬网。。。
其次，还是要舍得花时间。孩子有比赛的时候要舍得花时间带娃去，就算game很无聊也
要坚持到底，在看台上加油等等。对孩子的性格啊社交啊有更大帮助的往往是team
sports, 孩子刚开始的时候水平低，game实在没啥看头，还恶长。。。这就考验大家的
耐心啦。还有要帮娃social, 跟其他队友的父母聊天啦，请人家来玩啦，这些都是考验
父母的项目。 对了，如果是football, baseball, 还要舍得花时间带孩子看local
game.

始就练篮球, 非裔的尤其多. BASEBALL也有从小练的, 不一定是从SOCCER分出来. 到了
高中, SOCCER自然没有BASKETBALL, BASEBALL和FOOTBALL火. 毕竟这三个在美国最受欢

我其实很不喜欢动更喜欢爬网。。。
其次，还是要舍得花时间。孩子有比赛的时候要舍得花时间带娃去，就算game很无聊也
要坚持到底，在看台上加油等等。对孩子的性格啊社交啊有更大帮助的往往是team
sports, 孩子刚开始的时候水平低，game实在没啥看头，还恶长。。。这就考验大家的
耐心啦。还有要帮娃social, 跟其他队友的父母聊天啦，请人家来玩啦，这些都是考验
父母的项目。 对了，如果是football, baseball, 还要舍得花时间带孩子看local
game.
还有一点，体育方面的东西，咱们这些不是在美国长大的人也... 阅读全帖 |

发帖数: 13135 | 45 我说的是女孩子. 楼主给的女孩子的TEAM SPORTS 太少, 太误道了. 男孩子, 有从一开
始就练篮球, 非裔的尤其多. BASEBALL也有从小练的, 不一定是从SOCCER分出来. 到了
高中, SOCCER自然没有BASKETBALL, BASEBALL和FOOTBALL火. 毕竟这三个在美国最受欢
迎. |

实我们这里妈妈私下里聊天，有的妈妈不愿意让男孩子去打baseball也是怕受伤。你们
孩子是打minor吗？是不是从minor往上，不是那么confident孩子就退出了？我们现在

前天老师请大家周末去看BASEBALL比赛,让我们大家去SOCIAL,
主要是班上男孩多,女孩少,老师自己就是个FAN.
我家没男孩学那个,就不去了.而且我很忙.也非常讨厌看.
