此也最有竞争性。在该选区服务了17年，连任6届市议员的包坚信(Bas Balkissoon)进
入省议会后，留下的空缺吸引了10位候选人参与竞争，其中来自华人社区的候选人就达
5人，还有一名候选人罗大卫(David Robertson)亦被称为华人女婿，另外有两名候选人
也用上了华人的名字，安德坚(Hratch Aynedjian)和马万锦(Malcolm Mansfield)，显
然，争夺华人选票将成为重头戏。
由于该区以中文(包括广东话及普通话)为母语的人口占49%，为区内第一大族群，所以
华人选票是各候选人争夺的重点。
2003年市选中，曾得到25%选票的杨天明(Sonny Yeung)、曾连续13年任原怡陶碧谷市议
员的罗大卫、参与社区多个组织事务的李振光(Chin Lee)及拥有25年助选经验的安德坚
均是在年初就开始了竞选活动。而启动较晚的程锦荣(John Ching)和史毅敏(Scott Shi

今天出海，近海钓flounder，深海钓sea bass。
我今天可是过足了瘾！新手无敌！
本菜鸟第一次见大海，上了4条灰背白肚的flounder，一条25"巨无霸（全船第一条），
下水沉底30秒上鱼，还有一条21" keeper，
还有两条不能keep的，约15-16"。
5条黑乎乎的sea bass，keep了4条13-16"，其实那条release的也可以keep。>10"
看见老美二副fillet的sea bass比这条还小。
card reader 不在无法上载照片，回UT后再说。
最过瘾的是最后5分钟，一箭双雕，同时拉上来2条sea bas
花3块钱让2副fillet一条
小的flounder和2条sea bass,回一同事的家中作全海鱼宴

2. 酸菜
3. 红烧
味道好极了，特别是sea bass。

，每条6lb左右。其间又跑掉了4～5条，或者是太大，一挣就跑了；或者是太小，hook
set的不牢。不过总算收获不小了。
一起的还有3个中国人，年纪都不小。他们用活鱼做饵，狂上bass和capie，每
个人都钓了5，6条左右。不过不大，大的2lb左右吧。咳，只有条小bas咬我的钩，还没

NC Game：Texas vs Penn State
Texas还有两关，客场TT和big12冠军赛（多半对mizzou），个人觉得前面一场更艰苦。
不过，以texas现在的状态，还是有把握拿下的。Penn State全胜应该不成问题。想要俺
们lions进NC，只好让bama输一个了。看赛程还是很给面子的，LSU和SEC冠军赛，两关都
难过。
剩下能进bcs bowl的球队：
SEC bama, ufl：这俩应该没错，下周牛狗就会被ufl灭了
big 12 OU：也有一点可能是mizzou
big east WVU：这个大家没意见吧，big east不会再有了
Pac10 USC：这个最没问题，pac10也不会有其他队了
Big 10 OSU：大家不要笑，两负的OSU还是有bcs打的。毕竟power house，加上fan bas
e，只要它有at large的资格，就会被挑上。

值论对海明威的遗稿《流动的盛宴》还真挺适用。这是一本比散文还散的笔记合集，记
录了海明威在1921到1926年生活在巴黎的种种经历，据说正是伍迪·艾伦的电影《午夜
巴黎》的参考。故此这篇笔记也便抱一颗赤诚的八卦之心，记录些散碎的轶闻心得。
最有趣的一章：《秘密趣味》——海明威在这一篇里絮絮叨叨地写他怎么和当时的
妻子哈德莉一块儿预谋剪同一个发型，一块留头发。他为辞了加拿大报纸的工作而欢欣
鼓舞，因为终于能专心致志地写小说了，不用再穿西装，也不用剪什么体面的头来应付
世界了。海明威在描述二人在咖啡馆里的对话时，用了好多次“秘密的事”（secret
things）来略过夫妻俩之间的悄悄话、傻话，字里行间的柔情蜜意满得简直要溢出来。

distorted guitar is pretty tiring. And I doubt most
Metal guitarists are half dumb, :).
But actually I just found out volume when recording is
very important. Since we are going to mix them up later,
each tracks will be relative weaker, so we need to
record it stronger than we really want. Also volume
seems pretty important to distortion. High volume
will make distortion sounds much better, as long as you can stand it..
