艾文表示，美国反对单方面推进争端的行为，尤其是中日钓鱼岛之争，日本拥有钓鱼岛
的行政权。美方认为，中国应该打开一道有效的外交渠道，通过和平手段而不是威吓解
决争端。华府欢迎中国和日本建立危机管理机制。
对于近日中共派兵在南海争议地区巡逻，麦艾文表示，这一系列举动使美方对中国对争

从原文上看，“偌大一个机关矗立在这里”，从官方的习惯，原文的描述，市中心的建
