may damage your and neighbor house foundation. if you really like bamboo,
plant it in the pot, or find the non-invasive type.
Apple can grow really well here. but apple need to plant at least 2 of them.
otherwise no apple will come out. I have fuji and gala in my backyard. taste
really good. |

Alto C Beginner/or intermediate Level Dizi Bamboo Flute
和
Alto D Beginner/ or Intermediate Level Dizi Bamboo Flute
据说成年人直接学C、D是可以的，D音色更高一点，所以我比较倾向买D。
笛子教程里是C的多还是D的多？
可以买intermediate level吗？还是beginner level?
倒是不贵，几刀到十几刀，买来当玩具也行。

if pay the most expenisve labor to do it. (did I mention it is very messy
and require at least 3 or 4 coatings with light sanding in between to look
decent)
You can get prefinished bamboo floor fairly cheap, just replace them. It is
very easy to do a floating installation by yourself, a glue down or nail
down should be done by professional if you have no experience before. |

是物有所值的。几个看上去明显是美式中餐的我都没吃，其他的看上去比较像真正中国
菜的菜口味都不错，还有豆浆油条也不错，有一些中式甜点，我并不是每个都喜欢，但
有一两个甜点特别好吃。总之我觉得bamboo buffet还是不错的，不算高档，但是物美
价廉。 |

憾负
第四局的胜利让我对第五局也充满了信心。我坚信如今的顶级棋手仍有机会战胜目前状
态的阿狗。本来，因为第五局也是最后一局比赛，双方应当随机选定棋子颜色，但我选
择了执黑先行。在中国规则中，黑棋略为不利，因为要贴7.5目。但我想证明执黑也一
样能击败阿狗。
这一次我带着女儿进入对局室，第三和第四局比赛我因为压力太大而没有这样做，但这
一次我感觉没有太大压力。
开局一切都在预料之中。无疑，阿狗在避开黑17这样的棋，并且如我所料选择了脱先。
感谢这一手，我一开局就在右下收获了40目地。我以为我的优势已经建立，阿狗在右下
的一手棋恶手无疑。
然而，当阻止白棋在右边以及上方打入成为焦点时，贪婪的种子在我心中萌芽，所以才
会走出黑1这样的棋。如果阿狗在“”处应，则大善。因为阿狗喜欢选择安全的走
法，我估摸着这步应该没错。然而，阿狗却奕出了白2，这是一步险棋。这也说明阿狗
已具有顶尖职业棋手的水准，在己方劣势时敢于冒险。因为我也估计到白2，若是和人
类棋手比赛，我很可能会下在图2的1、3处，这样的话黑棋优势便能得以延续。在了解

看到一个美国人的论坛讨论这个，很多人都说竹子到处发的都是，很难kill，最后把整
个院子都侵占了，不知道是不是这样？
有个美国朋友家有bamboo，发信去问，他的回信果真和论坛上一个看法，而且说如果想
种，最好建个水泥池子，这样就不会乱窜了。这也太夸张了吧。

这个页面上所有的clumping的都是，6区肯定没问题，具体哪种好/能吃我不知道，因为
一直想种耐寒能吃笋的大竹子，花了点功夫找，知道我推荐的那个。我也在6区，家里
还有一些Yellow Groove，可以吃，不过是running bamboo。
竹子超级好养活，running bamboo跟树种在一起没有问题，clumping的最好有点单独的
空间 |

据说能长6 ft的那个品种。
结果种了以后才知道，heavenly bamboo以张德慢著称，我这个screen不知道多少年才
能成型

如果你有一个形状比较圆的空地，就种不窜的那种好了。
不管哪种，都需要把根包起来
我们最后为了保险，还是选择了买木头大盆子，种在盆子里，不是包根
你去他们nursery看，花样太多了，自己挑，我这个好像是yellow grove |

install root barrier. Your neighbors bamboo canes don't look that thick and
tall, probably easy to control. Make sure there no utility lines when
digging.

是又要再等三年才会长新竿子了？
还是说三年以后竹子establish好了，不管俺怎么给它分根、分盆都会在春天长出新的
来，不用再等它establish三年了？

那种塑料的root barrier对控制running bamboo的根有一定效果，不过水泥坑可能更安
全，个人感觉。
如果把running bamboo种到花盆里，每年会有新竿子出来，盆要大些比较好。
如果说种在盆里三年以后（不用三年，每年都会长新的）也会长新竹子，就把多余的竹
子带点根挖出来种在别的花盆就会变成另外一盆竹子。 |
