总的原则是，比你的中国同事穿的相对正式一点比穿的随便要好，但不要
比晚会的host/hostess, 例如你们的CEO/Dean/President穿的还正式，尤其
你只是一个普通的engineer的话。
下面这个list是随便总结的，不求全面靠谱，有不同意见的同学请自己保留。
欧洲大陆/英国/北美/工业界/学术界习惯迥异，叫法不同；就学术界本身而言，
学科之间也没有统一的标准；商学院老师说话用powerpoint, 饼图+直方图是
生命线，到数学系老头那里，不直接在幻灯片上推公式你就不敢叫自己是大牛。
言归正传：
1） Active attire，
这个是运动装，短裤，拖鞋，T恤，网球鞋，游泳衣，游泳裤，都属于这一类。
working professionals 在工作时间不适合穿这个，因为“工作场合不能露毛

even in banking industry,
some USA banks now allow smart casual in weekdays.
(the exception is for the guys who meet clients)
if you are travelling to just a branch of your company,
give the HR department a call, ask them for the dress code:)
I would suggest you bring both with you.

if they allow smart casual, change it.
