我上学期修了一门课, syllabus上明确的说成绩的组成是homework 70%, project 30%.
那个学期由于我家里有事, 后面几节课没上就提前回家了, 结果教授把后面的class
attendance也算成了一次homework, 由于我后面几次没上课, 我的总成绩就很低了. 我
现在想到系里appeal, 原因是: syllabus is the contract between professor and
student. 而教授没有按syllabus行事. 他把class attendance 算成了homework, 但这

，让我头疼不已。最近找了个历史专业的老外tutor，专门为了练习英语，可是每次练
习Toefl口语的Topic类型的题时，每次都想不到reasons来表达， 常常感到自己的思维
被什么东西给框起来了，发散不开来。
由此不由想到中西理论教育出来的学生真是不同，中国学生面对一个话题，要
么没有思路，思维扩散不开，要么想到的就是假、大、空的理论教条，一时之刻难以想
到合适的英语来表达，这倒不是说我们从小接受的教育就是这样的，但是不得不承认每
次为了迎接上级来检查，我们即使只是应付，也学会了很多冠冕堂皇之词，也是那些所
谓行政领导发言时最喜欢说的话。而且我们从小写作文，最早开始就是看图写话，然后
慢慢地随着年级的升高，就开始闭门造车，编造作文，有的题目甚至老师已经设定好了
思路，整个就是填鸭式教育。现在面对美国人出题的Toefl考试，要自己完全自主的来
表达自己的思想，一下就乱了阵脚，不知道怎么应付。相反，老外从小接受的是比较务

还是交了traffic school的钱，想说不是有网上的么。
