to give you a better idea, I used BPP for exam C and only tried to do the
practice sets from ASM a couple of days before the exam. I did very poorly
(like barely getting 50%) on the ASM practice sets even though I was doing
very well with BPP questions and past exams from the SOA. I got a 9 (one
question short from a 10) on the actual exam...
just my personal thoughts though... I know lots of ppl who rely heavily on
ASM and have gotten g |

Newsletter我负责的那部分在标题后还会把自己的名字和联系方式放上去，当然我也可
以不放。
问题是，这个newsletter可以说是media report吗？还是说这是我的publication 或者
是contribution?
这个newsletter的主要目的是介绍ASME 的一个 committee,我在里面担任committee
member中间的一个职位. 同时，我想问，这个committee member职位，是被人推选上来
的，我可不可以用这个committee member来做文章，说什么这个committee是这个领域
的权威，不是靠交钱就能进来的，blah blah...
大家怎么觉得呢？

今年5月本科就要毕业了， 统计和金融专业的。 所以在本科的时候我考过了P和FM.
准备这两个考试的时候，都是照着soa的推荐的书来准备的。
第一个p是学校学过的一本Probability的书，第二个FM是看学校图书馆的mathematical
interest theory和derivatives markets. 两门都比较顺了比较幸运的过了。
前阵子报名了mfe，然后打算沿derivatives markets看下来。
在版里才知道有ASM这个复习的材料。
麻烦各位指点一下， 是走ASM的材料好还是就把derivatives markets的看下来比较好
呢？
对了， 另外下半年去哥大的精算～不知道大家有什么意见和建议给我不？
