to call them, but no one answered the phone. We had also tried to get a
visa through travel agency but was no successful.
Any suggestions on making appointment or preparing documents will be much
appreciated. It is sooooo inconvenient to make a long trip to NY with
babies.

可是 appointment history里面显示有今天的预约，但是控制面板上显示当前没有预约
。 控制面板旁边显示最早available的预约时间。。。

I work and live in Chicago, IL, which I believe has a local or nearby
support center.
Because my mailing address for 140 and 485 is another city, the appointment
notice asked me to go to an Indiana city, which will cause me 3.5 hours one-
way driving.
Anybody has former experience? Can I walkin to a neaby location? Or what
offical procedure shall I follow to select the close location? My curr |

your current address.
I suggest that you drive 3.5 hrs to get the scheduled FP done. Otherwise,
it would cause you more trouble: Updating address and get FP rescheduled etc.

话说两个多月以前递交了485, 被转到TSC，听闻TSC的EAD，FP处理很快，暗自窃喜。不
想时间飞速，一转眼两个多月都过去了，没有网上Status，没有EAD／AP，没有FP
notice，除了三张receipt notices，别的都没有。其间电话骚扰NCSC若干次，不得要
领，只被告知“等”。逼迫律师去打探了两次，还是要“等”。
忽一日，听闻比我早几日递交485一朋友说她没有notice，亦打得指纹，之后几日便收
到了EAD／AP。一闻此言，心潮澎湃，发誓明日开始每天轮流到附近几个service
centers骚扰，必要成功。此晚一宿无眠，静静等着第二天战斗开始。具体如下：
一大早起来，等到10：30,出发。因为朋友告知，10点以后再去人少，方妥。一路很顺

LOCKBOX。485填表的时候我们用的各自的地址。
我很快就拿到了receipt notice和ASC Appointment Notice letter，但是她一点消息
都没有。是不是她的485被转到其他中心了？但是刚在网上查了状态，她的还是“Your
case is being processed at our TEXAS SERVICE CENTER location“。

的医生，一般appointment没什么特别需要的，问问价钱，顺便可以问问保险cover不
cover，一般保险似乎都不给cover检查费。你也可以问问要打什么疫苗之类的。去的时
候把你以前的疫苗记录带上。 |

the case transferred to local USCIS field office on 10/26/2012, it has been
6 months, I called USCIS several times asked for SR, but I was informed that
it was in the process time of that local USCIS office. I know it will not
work so much, however I will go for the Infopass appointment the day after
tomorrow.

I-485 RD, March 17th;（居然I-140的RD还比I-485晚一天！）
I-765 RD, March 17th;
ASC Appointment Notice for I-485 and I-765, March 19th;
我的I-485check也在March 19th被USCIS Cashed.
但奇怪的是到现在我I-140状态还是Acceptance,律师也还没有收到I-140的Approval
Notice.
这是什么情况？我的I-140是批了还是没有呢？我的case在Texas Center

证明你在这个单位曾经，正在，将来继续工作。
如果这是个新单位，你还没有开始工作，也许可以用offer letter代替。
