experience, you will be granted no credit toward tenure at XXX university"

我们学校每年给assistant professor一个appointment letter，前一年七月到下一年
六月结束。今年4月份我拿了个offer，新学校提出9月份入职。但是我出于好心，想着
如果立刻走了，系里找不到人来教课，所以就把offer 延长到明年1月份。但是现在好
像有苗头，系里要拿合同书说事，要我留到明年6月份。
板上大侠有知道，如果我在合同截止日离开会有什么后果吗？早知道这样，不如9月份
走了。 |

this policy. If not, you do not need to pay anything.
Some offices I know charge $50 to $60 to cover the staff expenses- dentist
has to pay his staff even if you do not show up. It is fair that you pay
something, probably not the entire cost of a dental procedure.
Many offices will waive the charge if you apologize and promise to show up
for your next appointment. |
