上面说得对。公寓不欠你的deposit，你无法起诉它；只能随它去；这种欠钱不像你欠
银行，信用卡公司的；一般人都会理解的。房东的声誉和修车铺都差不多的。 |

他们最小的女儿来Houston参加一个亲戚的婚礼。这才有机会在分别多年后把她们娘俩
接到家中小住两日。
这个女孩今年21岁了，今年5月份就本科毕业了，6月11日开始要从好远的外州来
Houston做一个为期2个月的Summer Intern，在Houston downtown的一个Accounting
Firm。今天我带着她们娘俩去看了几家Apartment。很难找到只offer两个月的，同时又
有家具和床都ready的aparment。所以我建议考虑sublease，因为我知道Houston这里肯
定有中国学生夏天要回国，房租又没到期的。1bedroom的可以，2bedroom的，也可以同
一个roommate一起住。
我在这里为我恩师的女儿找一个sublease的apartment。因为她要工作在downtown, 所
以最好住的离downtown不是很远的地方。她是一个很文静，很懂事有礼貌，也知道节俭
的的白人女孩。 她的intern期间是6月11日到8月10日。可能需要早到Houston几天。

客气了，也祝你节日快乐。尽量找中国人合租，单身女性最好。如果等不及，可以先租
一个aparment，然后再招租，这样比较可控，但可能前几个月招不到人会多出一些房租
。等对周边环境熟悉之后找到靠谱的房客的可能性就会大大提高。 |

Here are some features of the room/apartment:
1. Traffic. the apartment is located in Fairfax, VA, with very convenient
public transportation. 10 mins walk to metro station where subways go to
downtown washington DC (20 mins) and more locations. There are also CUE bus
(George Mason University service bus) station is only 1 mins away from the

这个房子从11月24日开始空出。我的合同到2013年8月，但是要提早离开。
这个地方中国学生很多，因为交通方便，购物方便，公寓管理很正规，也很安全。
具体：走1-2个街区就到Crystal City 地铁站，有蓝线和黄线两条地铁线。
购物：走路到Costco，Marshals，Bestbuy 和Pentagon Fashion Center。周边还有CVS
，Riteaid和7/11等便利店。
我的两位室友都是女生，一位在媒体实习，另一位在研究机构工作，她们都很开朗，生
活习惯很好，而且做得一手好菜。对我来说，这绝对是个Plus！

，直压Mequon边境。Mequon边境的房子房价都掉了一些了。
原本以为wauwatosa是白人区，东边有些黑人。今天居然在Brookfield和Wauwatosa边境
North上，大白天看到几个黑人走路。黑人都蔓延到西wauwatosa了？直压Brookfield边
境了。
Whitefish bay就不说了，西边黑人区也是压到边境了。
太可怕了就这3个好学区都被黑人区压过来了。别的城市，房价便宜，被黑人占领是早
晚的事。
BrownDeer一个好好的白人区，就这10年变成黑人区的。还有哪个城市安全？ |

I'll pose the question to a American smooth dancer the next time I see one.
Thoughtful, and aparently into good dancing, as you are, I would suggest
that you start with the International style. You'll learn to dance properly
and it's easier to find instructors who teach properly. I seldom see many
smooth dancers with great techniques.

我刚到美国的时候住的aparment隔壁是同校的一对华人同居男女。第一次见面的时候我
脸上堆满谄笑说声你们好准备和二人握手，结果两个人很奇怪地看了我一眼扭头开门进
屋关门，还听到了嘎哒一声的上锁声，让我很是尴尬。想了想，可能是小日本或者棒子
，摸了摸脑袋冲着关紧的门说了声操你妈，当然是很小声的，然后进屋。半夜的时候被
兮兮索索的声音给惊醒了，大骇，难道进贼了，正准备喊救命，突然感觉声音来自隔壁
。再一听，好像是女的在咯咯地压抑地笑，男的低沉地说着什么。我一下子意识到了什
么，赶紧光着身子贴在墙壁上看看2人在玩什么花样（心里面恨不得能凿逼偷光）。正
在此时，隔壁传来女的高8度的怒斥：麻辣戈壁，不走水路，光走旱路！我那个时候还
很纯洁，一下子被这句话打懵了，捉摸了很长时间。 |

in one sitting, then I just put the can in a ziplock bag and save it for
later.
I used to microwave his food but then I realized it gets too hot even at
20sec....So now I just just hot water over the cold can food, mix it up and
serveit that way. Aparently he LOVES the "soup"... |

， 所以我相信她不是想抛弃猫猫。她只是不是像我们一样把猫猫当家人的人，但以衡
量对待宠物的标准，已经不错了。不是那种动不动就不管猫死活送shelter的人。
lz,你能不能跟aparment的rental office讲一讲，尤其猫已经declaw,不会损害家具什
么的了。
还有，以后万一再进猫猫， 千万别再declaw, 这相当于把他们赖以生存的工具都拿走
了。 至于那些对于剃毛还唧唧歪歪的人就过分了，剃毛对猫没什么实质性伤害， 尤其
夏天。 |
