法官的立场和倾向性会非常明显的体现出来,进而影响整个社会。看看两党对美国最高
法院大法官的任命就知道了:
2016年保守派大法官Antonin Scalia去世后,奥巴急于任命一个自由派大法官。硬是被
共和党掌控的参议院生生阻止,拖到特朗普上台。特朗普上台后立马任命了保守派Neil
Gorsuch填补空缺。随后肯尼迪大法官退休,特朗普马上任命Brett Kavanaugh。这次

令。川普愤怒回应说,将和反对方“法庭见”。下一步,川普政府可能促请最高法院裁
决。
上诉法院裁决 支持暂停移民令
上诉法院由3名法官组成的小组9日一致驳回了政府的请求,拒绝立即恢复移民限制令,
而决定维持西雅图联邦法官罗巴特(James Robart)暂缓执行的裁决。
上诉法院认定,政府没有提交“任何证据”证明,移民限制令所涉7国对美国构成了足
够的国安威胁。
上诉法院的裁决说:“尽管在移民和国家安全方面,法院对总统的政策决定欠缺相当大
的尊重,但毫无疑问,联邦司法机构保留对行政行动宪法挑战进行裁决的权力。”
裁决结果意味着,此前来自7个穆斯林国家、被禁入境的难民和公民,可继续进入美国
