其中一位16岁高中生的事例，至今让他们不可思议——这位高中生，居然不会自己穿衣
、吃饭，来加留学，本是HOMESTAY（面向留学生的当地寄宿家庭），可由于他不能照顾
自己的基本生活起居，母亲跟来陪读，让HOMESTAY的华侨房东也看不过去。原来，这个
孩子从小到大，一直是保姆照料他穿衣、吃饭，且吃饭是一口口喂。这在加拿大长大的

这里面的深层原因，是因为女的生娃养娃，是 social responsibility。。。你不能因

2000年我刚到纽约时，从拉瓜笛机场出来，与接机的亲戚到了住处，我发现我的行李箱
被机场的工作人员从四个不同的方向撞出四个直径5-10厘米的破洞。 推测是有人抱着
我的行李箱向某个桌角之类的硬角结构撞击，试图把箱子撞散架。 但我的箱子是被我

太少的美国人真正能够适应现代社会所需要的工作。适龄男性劳动参与率处于大萧条以
来的最低点，鸦片类毒品滥用现象非常普遍，凶杀和暴力困扰着内陆城市。几乎有一半

Culture》即《美国版真理大讨论：美国奋斗文化崩溃的代价（译文/原文）》于2017年
8月9号发表之后，在美国的思想界和文化界引起了轩然大波。原文的作者宾夕法尼亚大

见的是精神病,倒像是人格上的毛病.就是这里精神病学的Axis II诊断.那就是一辈子的
事了,没药能治,你到时候就只能天天盼着他们死,问题才能解决.你男友现在看着还好,
可能是一起的时间还不够长,毛病没暴露.有这样的爹妈,他还非要和他们一起,他能好到

你孩子再多观察观察，现在决不能下诊断，但也没听起来那么可怕，不用有抗拒心理。
sociopath 不是 psychopath，它不过是一种 antisocial personality disorder，很
多人都有这病，没发现、或者说严重程度不同罢了。But I'm telling you, repeated
lying, incapability of feeling remorse or guilt 都是我们诊断的基础之一。现在
孩子还不到 15 岁，我们不能妄下诊断，但你也决不要有 denial 心理。 |

前2天去参加学校活动,老师个我们说小孩今天犯错了,在lunch time打别人的牛奶拿了
个sad note
在带小孩的回家路上,小孩都说no problem.打开他的书包找sad note,找不到,他还坚持
说没有犯错. 最后要把老师原话说出来,他才承认. 但是对sad note一直说不知道在哪
里,最后吓他你再不说实话,就让警察问你算了,他才说把sad note特意拿出书包,没有带
回来给我们看,所以才那么坚定不移的说no problem. 教育了他很久,好像他也知道说谎
不好,以为事情就结束了.
今天突然想起来他几个星期前中文考试,也没有把试卷带回来,回来只说考的很好,只是
