先说自己：
2008年开始突然发心学佛，没过多久就不想杀生吃肉了，素得很合理很自然。不过在此之
前我也并不是很贪爱肉食的人，只是有什么吃什么，完全没有概念，所以才可以做得那
么快。
至于我的朋友和家人，当然是一个吃素的都没有。他们首先关心的就是我的身体，特别
是我爸我妈，他们两个在国内都是医生，告诉我什么维生素都可以在素食里找到，唯独

不过呢，我重返临床一线这几年的一个最大感受，就是evidence-based 的临床结论，
和推理出来的往往有很大差异。
就譬如今天noon conference 主讲提到，用thrombopoietin analogue 治疗ITP刚刚得
到批准。我就推理：既然可以用erythropoietin治疗贫血、用GCSF 治疗白细胞低减，
那也可以用thrombopoietin 来治疗血小板减少啊，何必非要develop thrombopoietin
analogue呢？回来查了查，发现用重组thrombopoietin 的试验，结果是paradoxical
reaction，所以只好用thrombopoietin analogue。
难怪有话说一切的理论都是灰色，而生活之树常青。

最主要的是As妨碍普通细胞的呼吸oxidative phosphorylation，普通细胞没法在As下生存，不可能繁殖
但是这种几年前就被发现了的细胞有酶可以中和As，还可以靠As呼吸， 所以可以靠As生长，所以在用As替换P的环境下繁殖，就丝毫不足为奇了
所以更有意义的发现不是As替代P， 而是细菌可以在As里繁殖。这是个老消息了，可怜NASA不要脸，又玩花样骗钱
早就说过了，NASA是个很可怜的机构，在资本主义社会中没有任何存在的意义，所以要向好莱坞学习，不停搞出新闻来，才可以吸引缴税人民的注意力，搞研究经费

大学第一二年在广州华南理工大学学习，通过两校联合项目到爱大进行第三四年的学习
，毕业取得爱大学位
在爱大过去一年的学习，6科学科均取得A
目前在考虑是否要申请伦敦帝国理工学院的MSc,还是留在爱大读MEng
MEng是master of engineering，是BEng再读一年，仍然算是undergraduate
MSc是masrer of science,算是postgraduate
在我看来两者的区别就是MEng是什么都掌握一点，但是对每个方向都没有深入的研究
而MSc就是只学习EE的一个指定大方向，比如RF，communication
想去IC的原因是为了那学校的名气..
但是考虑到ic高昂的学费还有伦敦的生活开销
所以犹豫了，是否值得去IC读MSc呢
希望给大家给下意见
小弟是希望硕士毕业以后在UK工作4，5年然后回国的
还有就是选方向的问题

生，假冒MD---别给我说MD这里的意思是医生，英文中“医生”另有一个专用词
Physician。若自称Doctor xxx就是指有医学博士（MD）学位的医生，没有MD学位就只
能自称Physician。
这位SD Yan明显没有美国MD学位，虽然她自称received her M.D. from Fujian
Medical University in 1983，但我们都知道，1983年时中国福建医学院根本不能授医
学博士学位，她得到的只能是医学士（MB）学位。她若诚实，就应该跟饶毅一样，老老
实实自称MB。
可能她自己也知道她这个MD是faked，所以，在她现在的faculty个人网页上，她无法象
其他美国人一样列出获得M.D.学位的学校和年代，这一栏空白。但为了能够自称Dr.
Yan，她只好在下面的文字介绍中含糊自称received her M.D. from Fujian Medical

这位教授已经做了二十多年数学和工程的教育工作。
教授今天给回信——最后一句太鼓舞人心了——翻译成中文就是——
“如果你解决了2个难题，围棋数学将会席卷美国的每一个学校……”。
【 I do think that you are correct in noticing a correlation between math an
d go. Certainly, basic arithmetic... adding, subtracting, multiplying and th
eir geometric analogues are all there at the lowest levels of the game. But
also, estimating is there. And that is more abstract. Then the bigger, and
more interesting, question is whether or not the planning that comes up in
