最近看了Dice帖子，讨论有机新生代的牛人，觉得挺有意思，但也有点意犹未尽。
现在响应他的号召，新开贴，系统地介绍有机化学的新生力量。
上个世纪90是年代独立工作的人，通过十几年左右的打拼，很多都已经功成名就，
成为人名教授了，像Greg Fu，MacMillan，List， Scott Miller， John Hartwig，
Amir Hoveyda，Erik Sorensen等等。现在有一批2000以后独立工作的人开始崭露头角
，渐渐被人们熟知，有机化学的江湖以后就是他们的天下，感觉现在有机到了更新换代
的时候了。
这个帖子的目的是系统地介绍2000（特别是2004年，如果是中国人则会放宽年限）
以后独立工作的有机领域的新生力量，旨在展现现在有机的前沿，年轻人的chemistry
代表着化学的未来。这些人有的刚刚拿到tenure，有的还为tenure苦苦打拼，从他们的
文章中，看到了努力，也看到了执着。从本帖开始，将以回复的形式，介绍当今有机化
学活跃的年轻人，希望从中能看到有机化学的未来。

，但他们的视觉形象是怎么样的呢？许多人并不熟悉。随着大批老照片被发掘，我们开
始对他们的音容笑貌有了更直观的了解，对那个远去的年代有了更加深刻而亲切的印象。
为什么研究老照片？我的体会，一是观相貌，看看那是一张怎样的面容；第二晓民俗，
当年的生活习惯是怎样的细节；三是知变迁，让我们知道曾有一段怎样的发展过程。
我今天主要是围绕着1850-1900年这段时间，西方摄影技术传入中国，并逐渐为官方和
社会各界接受，清朝上层统治者几次重要的摄影活动为线索，介绍一些官员们的形象，
介绍总理衙门大臣的形象，介绍醇亲王巡阅北洋海军、李鸿章访问欧美等等故事，加深
大家对中国近代历史在曲折中蹒跚前行的认识。
