1) on the flop, he either hits something, or puts you on a cbet with missed
2 high cards. rainbow flop, so his hand range includes:
* on a draw (JQs alike) or AT or JJ alike.
* a set? always possible but you need to find out.
* 2 pair like 9T? most likely he'll raise on flop. he's a regular so you
know better if his pre-flop call with this hand is possible.

flop hits him more often (ppl like face cards), or he could have TT/99 alike
, still you're behind WITHOUT position.
K23 flop, lead out 2/3 pot 80% of time, check call 20%. you can represent a
Kx hand here often. if called, still, you may still have the best hand
against naked AQ/AJ alike, and you put hands like TT/99 in a tough spot.

that's why for me, reversely, sometimes i'd like to bet medium with flopped
trips:
1) to build a pot;
2) to encourage a bluff somewhere;
3) to get some control/info. when the opponent does have trips too.

that Snowy is a German Shepard. There is no wire-haired GSD; GSD even
without grooming ever wouldn't have so long hair around the nozzle; GSD
tails are normally behind, not over the body; GSDs are typically serious
about their work, but less cheerful, and harder to be distracted than Snowy
is; GSD are larger.
