看到有些人担心中国80后、90后为主体的解放军三军部队，因为绝大多数为独子，
必然会导致怕死而严重影响部队战斗力，即断定30年不曾实战的中国军队战力大打折扣。
承认缺乏实战经验，在战争初期会折扣部队战力，但中国军队不是利比亚军队那样
坚持数月就会土崩瓦解的部队，因此，解放军必然越战越强。
而关于人的因素，独生子怕死的问题，本人断然不敢苟同：
理由一：独生子好胜心切，全家多至六位老人寄予厚望，战时“出人头地、光宗耀
祖”思想绝对不亚于任何时代任何人。同意的举手，我是独生子，我举手！
理由二：独生子自尊心强，很容易转化成勇气和激情。同意的举手，我是独生子，

Say you have a function y = f(x), where f has some parameters, and follow
some basic requirement (e.g. continuous, but this is not necessary, because
saw shaped functions work better).
Basically it is using the chain rule in calculus to move the parameters
around for minimal prediction error, which is the difference between the
