路透社報導，美國商務部週二（5月23日）表示，今年4月新屋銷售較3月大降11.4%，經
季節性調整後年率為56.9萬戶，西部地區跌幅來到將近18個月的最低點。原本分析師預
估4月新屋銷售降1.5%，年率降至61萬戶。
4月新屋銷售較上年同期增長0.5%。4月新屋完工表現持平，在建房屋則增加0.6%。
另外，3月新屋銷售年率由62.1萬戶上修至62.4萬戶，是2007年10月以來最高水平。
美國新屋銷售占整體房屋銷售的9.8%，通常環比變動較大。
分析師認為，造成4月新屋銷售重挫的原因是第一季氣候異常溫和，帶動該季度銷售上
漲。
雖然4月新屋銷售下降，但多倫多BMO Capital Markets分析師Jennifer Lee說：「房屋
需求仍然強勁，常見的支撐因素並未出現改變，關鍵是就業和薪資增長。」

极能聊天儿，一屋子7，8个人，4，5个小时，MM能口若悬河得从开始讲到最后。人生经历
五彩缤纷。还会变个小魔术作为中场休息。那么多人的场合，扑克这种东西都没有人会提
的。
伊有一套马褂，还有专门配套的黑色布鞋，是那种尖头的。再带上一个鸭舌帽，胳膊上搭
条毛巾，跟过去的小跑堂的一样一样的。行为举止都能模仿的唯妙唯肖。
后来我来了加州，两个月后受到MM一封email. 详细记载了各种菜的制作过程，和食谱是

另外，很多的朋友都是靠REFERAL也就是你的朋友在某家律师事务所办理成功了，然后你
也被推荐到那所律师事务所。也许你不知道的是你的朋友会得到300-500美元不等的推荐
费，这就是美国的现实。

轻的研究者屠呦呦和张亭栋，分别在发现抗疟新药青蒿素和揭示砒霜化学成分三氧化二
砷对白血病的治疗作用的过程中起了关键作用。回顾四十年前开始的历程，不乏曲折和
反讽。青蒿素工作源于中国帮助越南抵抗美国，三氧化二砷源于观察、验证和改进乡村

KKR and TPG back off bid for Nokia unit

US private equity groups KKR and TPG have backed away from bidding for a majority stake in Nokia Siemens Networks, leaving only one interested consortium in what has been a slow and cumbersome sale process for the ailing telecoms equipment company.

我特地把大家容易犯的毛病讲给大家听：
首先是如何挑选一家律师事务所。大家最容易的是比较价格。一般六十年代的人比较保守
，相对比较稳，七十年代出生的人最容易上当。一般的人通常是找几个律师事务所比来比
去，挑一个最便宜的。这是最大的忌讳。办绿卡是需要经验的，不是比较价格。往往价格
底的质量也低，这是事实。
另外，很多的朋友都是靠REFERAL也就是你的朋友在某家律师事务所办理成功了，然后你
也被推荐到那所律师事务所。也许你不知道的是你的朋友会得到300-500美元不等的推荐
费，这就是美国的现实。 |

这次得到offer的interview机会其实也是从学校里来的。这个公司要招人，HR就发了个em
ail到俺们学校。学校把email转给有关的学生们。这个职位跟俺的背景非常非常相近。立
刻好好修饰了一下resume，当天就发过去给HR。不放心，第二天早晨一个follow up的电
话，假装询问是不是收到了俺的resume，其实是想让对方在一陀一陀的简历中间能对俺有
个印象，不至于随便挑几个剩下的delete掉。HR manager的回答让俺有点惊喜，她居然记
得俺的名字，证明还是比较的impressive。不两天，HR manager就打电话来约了个时间电
话interview。有了以前的经验，先问了问她要有些什么内容，回答是就是一个初步phone
screen，就是HR和一个小头目，没什么技术 |
