There is a Affinity Health Plan office between 52/53 st. I went to ask them
if new Green Card can apply Medicaid and join them. The lady said it is okay
. I am not sure if it is real or not, but you may want to ask ask... haha...
I am interested to know if she is just saying so or it is real too. I plan
to apply my parent to US, but worrying about how to get Insurance too. The
medical cost is crazy in US. |

affinity, hudson等等所有属于medicaid的保险，没有哪个private医生愿意看的。只
有medicare的也不算好的insurance.
没有保险，付cash的病人，当然最好事先付清，不然最后赖账的，假地址，假姓名的太
多太多了。我LD工作的地方做个胃镜，一千五，如果没有保险，事先一次性付清，不然
不给预约；medicaid的，一率不预约。要么有好的private insurance,(medicare他们
都不太愿意收），那是绝对的准时，facility也绝对干净漂亮。 |

Chinatown 中国医生收不收我就不太清楚了。
我看到的眼皮耳心内消化过敏骨科这些private practice根本就不接收medicaid, HIPP
, Affinity这些巨烂无比的insurance. |

本报讯：奥巴马健改法原本应为民众提供更多的选择，但很多自购健保计划的纽约
居民却被纽约市最有名望的两家医院排除在外。
据《纽约邮报》报道，在纽约州健保交易市场所提供的9个健保计划中，只有3个健
保计划涵盖纽约大学医院（NYU Hospital）和纽约长老会医院（New York-
Presbyterian Hospital，见图）的治疗费用。官员表示，选择购买其他6个健保计划的
人们要么去别的医院就医，要么自己支付昂贵的医疗费用。病患如果前往健保计划之外
的医院就医，他们最多需要负担40%的医疗费用。
纪录显示，纽约长老会医院是全国最大的医疗系统，该院拥有2236张床位，目前在
交易市场上，只有United、Emblem和Aetna三家公司的健保计划包括纽约长老会医院。
纽约大学医疗系统在其Langone医学中心和关节病医院内共设有1069张床位，该医
疗系统与Affinity、Fidelis以及United三家保险公司合作，Oxford-United保险公司的
