Sixteen year Republican representative Mark Souder of Indiana is resigning
merely two weeks after he survived a tough contested primary challenge amid
reports that he was boinking a female staffer on the side.
First thought, gross. No offense, but Mark Souder is not a good looking man.
Some woman had an affair with that? Have to wonder if she was fishing for a
story. Smells like a setup.

爾民族Sumerian ，約在5000BCE掘起，約2000BCE被Amorites 殲滅，她的文化，包括語
言、神話等，被後來在該地及附近的其他民族繼承起來。
在19世紀，多國的考古學家都在美索不達米亞一帶發掘，出土了很多記有這些民族的神

1937年7月7日，日本军队在卢沟桥挑起事端，发动了全面侵华战争。
事变之初，蒋介石一面下令就地抵抗，一面企图谋求事变的和平解决。国民政府除
直接与日本交涉外，还促请英、美等国调解。7月12日，国民政府向美国政府作出试探
，但国务院却认为，现今美国“以调处者的身份采取任何措施都为时过早，都是不明智
的”，美国既已向中、日两国表明它对远东的敌对行动“极不赞成”，这就足够了。7
月13日，英国向美国提出英、美、法三国联合调停中日冲突的建议。国务卿赫尔与副国
务卿韦尔斯、远东司司长亨培克商量后拟出了答复，并征得了总统的同意。
这份答复说，美国国务院已经对中、日两国使节强调了保持和平的重要性，两国可
