這和BS是acturial science是不一樣的
前者拿的bacholor degree是數學系的 但應該會註明是acturial science的program (
有可能就是你說的specialization of actuarial science)
後者拿的bacholor degree是acturial science
所以你得先搞清楚那個學校究竟有沒有acturial science的department
還是附屬在mathematics department下的 如果在math department下的acturial
science的program很可能是要修一些數學系的必修課 然後再修一些acturial science
的課

在美国，现在不仅可以念CS, IT, biostat, Law, Med, 还可以念一些比较
专业的，如acturial science (NO.1 profession in US)等等，要找个工作
还是相当容易的。唯一难的是green card。
如果你准备回国，就会发现路子一下宽了很多。所以，前方道路问题，取决
自己的态度。
只不过无论如何，应该到美国来看看，来生活生活。

acturial program里人,即使考过了,也不享受长工资的福利.博士进保险公司,工资应该
比本科精算进去的高多了,公司一般不会因为你考试过了,再给你涨工资,否则其他同事
不嫉妒?

从你的描述上看好像这个学校的 actuarial science是 mathematics 下面的一个分支
specialization of actuarial 应该就是指精算专业 BS in actuarial science 的意
思是精算学士 既然有这个degree那么应该就有这个专业 所以直接申请specialization
of actuarial science 就好了 我的亲戚是做这个的 但是他是学数学的 然后考了精
算师的license. |

一个人学 教育 （= mathematics）
毕业以后当 老师 （= 精算师）
他的专长是 授业解惑 （specialization of actuarial science）
他读的科系是 教育系 （major perference ： mathematics)
他的学位的 : 教育学士 （BS inactuarial science）
所以这位同学该读数学系， 毕业时他拿学士学位，他有很多与数字有关的知识，他应

still withhold 20% for taxes and If you ever do come back and that 20% doesn
't cover taxes, IRS may still track you down and make you pay more taxes.

1. Leave the money in USA until you are 55. Then you can withdraw it without
penalties.
2. Take the distribution over your life time using acturial calculation,
again to avoid penalties.

说前五题最难，跟我的感觉一样，一开始有些被打蒙了的感觉
后面15题倒是比较轻松，虽然也不是那么有把握
呼呼，看来还不算太糟糕，不过的确很多题型没见过
套路感觉有些用不上，老中习惯的做题做出套路来准备考试有些不太讨好了

pricing group有一个空缺,immediate hire,必须能在一个月内开始，H1B可以办的，但
如果有OPT就最好，不然可能要自己pay 加急的钱。这个空缺会是顶替我现在的
replacement,因为我要move 到西部的office去，11月走。老板说我走之前要先把新人
train 好，所以找人很急。有大量的SAS programming, 还有predictive modeling的东
西，要求SAS和Excel一定要好，能马上开始工作，不需要重新学SAS的，考试1门就行。
下面是我之前的job description,仅供参考。关键还是能马上开始，还有SAS要强。
