Adobe Acroread突然不能在Firefox里运行了，点击任何一个PDF文件
Acroread启动后接着显示can't run in Firefox，重新装也没有用，
这是怎么回事？ |

发帖数: 127 | 4 After updated to Ubuntu 10.10, pdf file created by CUPS-PDF can't search
text within the file using AcroReader. I still can do the text search when
opened by Evince but not AcroReader. However, this makes the pdf file that I
created not-so-portable since other user who opens the file in Windows can'
t perform the search function.
I still can select the text in the pdf file, but copying the selected text
and then pasting it appears as un-readable fonts.
Anyone else has the same problem? |

for the sake of innovation. I agree Windows is a great
innovation, but what about the transition from Win7 to Win8?
For we desktop users, it is just like forcing left-hand-writing
people to write in right hand. The same happens in Acroread
or MS Office updates, each time the locations of icons shift
somehow, I don't see what this is good for - of course if
you are a new user, I don't see it is bad either.

有大变化. 基本上你可以说是: 该一步 就可以完成的操作,你得三步.
所以如果抱怨这个, 我觉得可以理解.
我不抱怨这个, 是因为对我来说不管是7还是8, 界面都由我自己
完全改过了.
你说的其他的, 什么"该关的文件不能关.",
"我一不留神,只需要一页的, 就把整个PDF文件都打下来"
这些与系统没什么关系. 比如pdf文件, 我完全不觉得acroreader在
7与8下使用有什么不同. 当然你要是新电脑装的软件不一样, 那是
另一个问题, 也抱怨不到系统上. |

you need is the fonts, including simsun.ttc, simhei.ttf, simkai.ttf, and
simfang.ttf. you can get them from any chinese version of the windows. |

要 C-c C-c(v) 到打开 external pdf viewer 就行了，大多数 pdf viewer
都自动刷新，除了 adobe acroread 以外。这个决定因素是外部 viewer 是否
自动刷新。
这个帖子说的不是用 external pdf viewer, 不用 adobe reader, evince,sumatrapdf
, 而是直接 M-x M-f 打开 pdf 文件就行了。google DocView mode 看看。
这种情况下 (global-auto-revert-mode 1) 能让这个DocView buffer自动刷新。
furthermore, if one runs "M-x shell", 里面用 latexmk 的话，就是 auto
recompile + auto reload, 这办法对于外部 viewer 或者是 DocView 都适用。 |
