其实我们经常以一个学校的综合实力，或是他们商学院mba的排名，来判断他们的ph.d
program, 这在商学博士program里是一个误解。其实很多名校对博士生根本不重视，在
这些学校里想毕业都很困难，毕业后大多人也没有去研究性的大学。当然，名校的牌子
对工业界还是很有号召力的。 不知道lz是否知道，很多州立大学的会计博士其实很强
的。比如ohio state， 他们那儿有个牛人，带出来的学生都是去top 10当faculty的。 |

Asset Acceptance LLC公司写了信，request validation。
今天收到回信，上面只是简单列了
prior acct＃，
prior creditor（discover），
balance，和
这个acct的ssn （明显不是我的ssn）。
请问我下一步应该如何dispute？
个人觉得把自己的个人信息告诉这个公司
是不安全的，我不应该告诉他们我得真实ssn吧？
望知道的大侠们支招，先谢了 |

跟投资风险有毛的关系, 这些tax-deferred acct都可以买CD的, 或者起码也可以买
个bond.
投资风险是投资风险.
买教育基金的风险是另一回事.
我还是不说, 因为在美国工作的人马上就会明白怎么回事, 大多数人天天都担心这事. |

GDP的60左右。 老布什时期 debt/gdp 比率也没有这么高。 Federal debt 组成部分是
：政府预算赤字+人民消费赤字+贸易顺差。
问题更严重的是：现在美国政府每年费用的两个大头： social security 和 medicare
一共占到超过50%。 social security 现在还是每年还有盈余，就是提取social
security benefit的人还不多。盈余用来填别的地方的赤字，还是远远填不住。美国政
府自己的预测，2010年开始 baby boomer大量退休， social security立刻出现赤字，
而且是严重赤字，一年比一年多。 这个social security 赤字加到现在的总赤字，
后果不堪设想。
里面Interview一般美国民众，问他们savings account 里面有多少钱。 一个说几百块
，一个说没有savings acct, 钱拿来全部用完, paycheck to paycheck。最多的一个说
是1000快。

实际上primary address并不是很影响生活。 如果小孩还没开始上学或者上私立。听一
些人说只要tax documents和一些重要信件设置寄到primary address就可以了。 其他
的日常生活和普通信件要么paperless要么可以secondary address or business
address. 尤其在外地如果有个亲戚或者地产租房agent帮忙打理一些信件和bill之类的。
毕竟网络时代， 也不需要都亲身去亲力亲为。
