AMEX的Primium除了车子的损坏和失窃以外，还保个人财产损失（Personal Property

冲击不要太大。
一般是如果有小孩的话，起码要cover到小孩上大学。对于一般人，尽量不要听忽悠，
买所谓投资类的人寿保险，最典型的是什么Universal Life Insurance，每年投进去好
几千，其实都让那些卖保险的团队赚了。
所以，基本上买term 就可以了，对于多数人，可能20年的就够了，当然，如果很年轻
，也不妨买30年的，因为年轻时买，rate很低。
有些雇主提供一部分免费的人寿保险，比如，工资的1.5倍，然后自己可以额外再用税
前的工资加买一些（比如买到8倍左右）。另外，还可以买一些【意外险accidental
life insurance】，因为年轻人得病的概率相对较低，但事故是谁也想不到的。【意外
险accidental life insurance】的rate比普通的term险更低。
对于有些人，因为现在的雇主提供的人寿险比较优惠，但也要考虑一下，这份工作的稳
定性。如果对工作的温定性有担心，那就还要趁自己年轻的时候，在雇主之外买一份固

If you paid with amx blue. you have two options:
1)buyer's assurance plan gives you one more year warranty beyond the original
one.
2)purchase protection plan gives you full refund in case of theft or
accidental
damage for up to 90 days.
Last summer I got a PIII900 and it failed, I used purchase protection from amx
blue to get the $199 back in full. But I had to tell them that it was an
accidental damage because I swithed to a new MB and during the process my

信要求退货。 如果按他说的是个accidental order and never meant to get it in
the first place, 哪为啥不马上联系而要等到现在才说，觉得就是用了一周后不想要
了。这种情况该不该答应退货，不退有什么不好。如果退回来一个旧的或者坏的手机，

前段时间里美国华人们讨论较多的就两件事，一个是纽约梁警官的枪击误杀事件，一个
是HSI(国土安全局调查部，不少媒体都误传FBI，这么说的都应该一个个拖出去tjjtds.
)突击了几个月子中心，并扣下了一些中国孕妇的护照（原因是为了保证孕妇作为证人
出庭）。 这两个事情在华人中引起了不小的讨论。里面也很有一些观点的交锋。小O参
与了部分讨论，但是远没像当年参与ＪＫ的时候在第一时间发文抗议。因为小Ｏ一直在
思考一个问题：
为什么无论发生什么事情倒霉的总是华人这头？
月子中心的事情属于美国移民体系讨论，留到下一节讲。这里先说说梁警官(Peter
Liang)的案子。
梁警官的案件的确是悲剧，从现在新闻的陈述来说，梁是在没有任何目标的情况下枪支

abuse。
1，LS说的对，AMEX限额$1000，分两种赔偿方式：a, stolen, b. accidentally
damage。
2， 被偷要有报警记录。我的围巾被偷后就是报警了，然后才Report给AMEX。另DVD损
坏也是东西运来后accidentally损坏的（小朋友掰坏了放光盘的盖子）
3，因为综上两种索赔上限$1000，因此属于极其小额保险。是AMEX在每个会员消费后上
的那么一丁丁点保险，用这个给Cardmember提供的小福利 |
