陆第一家通过这一化学工程人才培养质量认证的高校。根据通知内容，华东理工大学化
学工程与工艺专业的ABET认证有效期可追溯到2011年10月1日，截至2019年7月1日。也
就是说，这段时期内在这一专业就读学生的所有专业学分，都将被ABET认证序列中的高
校所认可，毕业生也将被认为达到了国际化学工程人才的培养标准。
ABET是国际上公认的最具权威性和普遍性的认证体系，也是华盛顿协议(
Washington Accord)的6个发起工程组织之一。它开展的各类专业鉴定是各类专业技术
人员获得执业资格的权威渠道。目前全球已有超过550所大学、2500个学院参加过它的
认证，其中包括卡内基梅隆大学、普林斯顿大学、新墨西哥州立大学、休斯敦大学、里

description。成绩单好弄， 但是course description怎么弄呢，他们要从学校直接寄
来，但是我估计学校也不会提供course description，自己写的话，是要找成绩单办公
室盖个章呢，还是找系里盖章？
要是学校不给盖章咋办？

另外大家知道不知道他们abet的要求是什么呢。我是清华热能的，不知道好不好过。。

I understand it is a tedious and painful process to prepare all the required
documents for the foreign degree evaluation. And when everything said and
done, the BE from China is most likely found nonequivalent anyway.

engineering discipline and work experience in another. they will tell you
which exam to take.
from the many examples around me, I think the board usually picks the
discipline that is consistent with your work experience instead of your

就是“每个学校只可以申请一个学位课程通过ABET认证的政策”。由于这个古老的政策，
一般学校都会向ABET申请认可其本科学位。
不久每个学校申请认可两个或两个以上的学位，这意味外位国学生再美国拿到MS/PHD,及
可获得一个ABET认可的学位。
问题是，很多州的PE Board会要求考试人拥有ABET认可的本科学位。所以，NEECS已经承
诺会修改MODEL LAW,各个州的board会效仿，放弃"申请人须拥有abet认证或者相当的本科

没有国内工作经历
按照CA PE的要求需要六年，
按照 http://www.pels.ca.gov/applicants/faq_eng.pdf
的说法
在Q5 A5 （1）
本科可以折算4年，不过要求CA Board批准的，非ABET的不能折算4年 （好像中国的学
校没有在ABET认证的）
另外还说没有被CA Board承认的BSdegree（包括所有的foreign school）算2年
在Q5 A5 （2）
ABET认证的研究生最多可以算一年，非美国的研究生不算经历。
想我这样的 国内本科折算2年+国内硕士折算0年+美国博士折算1年（假设美国的学校能
通过ABET）+美国工作2年 = 5年，还是不够6年。
不知道我这样算有没有问题，请教各位同学，先谢了。 |

-若你有MASTER DEGREE-ABET LIST（本科是ABET就行，因为BOARD说，若学校注册时本
科的ABET LIST，MASTER里面就没有，不过他们说你读的学校本科室ABET就算）
-工作经验4年，就可以注册
-reference letter 我没有看到这一点。
工作经验报告，是考过之后再交。这个省事。
不知道有谁是在MICHIGAN考过PE?
能说点不？

1. Get ABET evaluation - you need to get the transcript from the school in
China (with Eng translation) and send it to ABET/ECEI directly
2. If you passed EIT alreay, register PE in another state which does not
require the ABET evaluation if you hold a higher degree. Once you pass the
PE exam, come back to MA and apply for reciprocity
BTW, I did the first way, the painful way

在NCEES那个网站注册填了信息 交了费 购买了PA的FE mechanical考试
第二天收到一个邮件 说：
Our records show you registered with NCEES for the upcoming 2014 FE CBT
examination. Your NCEES account shows you have applied WITHOUT an ABET
accredited degree which will require pre-approval from the PA Board.
我在ABET的那个网站查了下 我那个学校只有本科的program是ABET accredited
我下一步应该做什么呢？

司给的待遇，应届毕业生的薪情如何，跟专业和行业有莫大关系，并非所有的专业都是

2011年全美大学与雇主协会(The National Association of College and
Employers)发布了有关在70个学科领域获得学士学位的大学毕业生的起始薪水情况的季
度报告，大学毕业生的平均起薪比去年的48,661美元增长了4.8%，至51,018美元。在平
