发帖数: 61 | 10 I think you should focus on UW and/or Kaplan bank. Doing usmlers is a waste
of time and it was not recommended by most of 99s. Why not just memorize FA
directly? Focusing on one or two banks and understanding those concepts are
more important. Good luck. |

99...... most ppl with 99s are actually getting 236-245.
you might need to 脱层皮 to get 250.... |

Good hospitals (university ones), who care about research backgrounds of the
applicants, have their AMG applicants with 99/99s too. I guess for these
hospitals, if u wanna get in, STRONG research and >90s are important.
For those community ones, who usually don't care about research backgrounds
of the applicants, graduation year, GC, and language ability are important.
99 is better than 90 but won't really make a big difference. |

Casually, I were told by the PD I am shadowing now that he will take me if I apply for his program. Well, good to have connections. Hope he was not kidding me. |

communications. Score is valued very high in pathology. I heard that many
path programs prefer higher score CMG to low score AMG. I think many CMGs
really excel in pathology. I used to do one path ob in X state. Overally,
IMGs did better than AMGs.
On the other hand, CMGs are much less likely to do well in direct patient
care specialties like surgery, IM or FM. Communcations are not emphasized

the real problem. The real hassle is to get IVs. PD will bias on you. Try to
score very high on steps otherwise you will have more troubles to get IVs
than ppl from western medicine. In the electronic CV, your medical school
will be labelled as XXX college of tradition chinese medicine. Very ugly
name.... PDs will think that your medical education is even subpar those
from western medicine in China. So be sure to get 99s. |

觉得yrcw应该会有一个反弹，不会这么容易倒掉的。
yrcw暴跌的原因是“the company missed a key milestone
deadline”，而谈判中没统一，missed掉deadline的不过是讨价还价
the amount of the interest rate on deferred payments.
相对其他的 restructuring步骤，这个应该不是难以解决的大问题，
毕竟让yrcw因为一点 interest 倒闭对各方都不会有啥利。
今天teamster出来澄清了。
低价的确不是买入的理由，但看看teamster的说明，如果买入也只是
take calculated danger吧. 不过yrcw千万不能长持，该出手就
出手。
