一年一度的溫哥華VanDusen植物園「Festival of Lights 」聖誕燈會，將於今晚正式
亮燈，讓市民參觀華麗的聖誕燈飾。北溫卡比蘭奴(Capilano)吊橋也於上周五裝上大量
聖誕燈飾，每晚亮燈讓市民欣賞。溫市中心活活大樓(Woodward's)則在櫥窗內放置大量
聖誕裝飾品，讓經過的市民皆能感受氣氛。
溫市中心的加拿大廣場(Canada Place)，則會於每天晚上6時起點燈，讓市民在聖誕燈
下欣賞美景。格蘭護島(Granville Island)同樣也會精心佈置，將讓整個地區充滿聖誕

第5轮又还给包装工，拿到 第6轮 + 第7轮 + 第7轮；

最终结果，拍子的第2轮靠后位置 (62nd pick) 换来了
第3轮靠后位置 (90th pick) + 第6轮 + 第7轮 + 第7轮。
文章说，根据公式推算，拍子损失了 30% 的价值。
我怎么觉得拍子一换四，是赚了呢？ |

Fred凭借高超的营销能力借机说服政府，成功举办了跨越纽约5大区的NYC马拉松。
Fred Lebow毕其一生之功倡导跑步（一生未婚，当然他也比较花，极受年轻女孩子的欢
迎），面向广大业余马拉松爱好者，把NYC马拉松组织成全球一流盛会，2008年NYCM发
展到10万人报名，4万多人参赛....
他一生在世界各地完成了69个马拉松，1992年以60岁高龄在NYC最后一次跑完了全程，
这是他得了脑癌后的第3年，也是他在自己组织的NYC马拉松中唯一的一次比赛。

发帖数: 400 | 48 还没有学统计课程，但是自己有翻过书。你是想说sample size还是sample space？这两个是不同的概念。我觉得是你想说sample size吧？sample size大小并非有说服力的唯一决定因素，关键是采样方法能够让sample充分代表population。有时候采样采了一大堆，但是全部集中在某区域只反映population的一部分，还不如有代表性的少量采样。sample size多大完全看具体情况——这篇论文采用了这个图表，我相信Robert M. Hauser教授在其说服力方面是有考量的。
你为什么说"从律师分布的看，大多数律师比较笨"? 图中并没有体现样本的distribution啊～ Q1和Q2，Q2和Q3之间分值如何分布你并不能从图中看出来。比方Q1和Q2之间有可能是：95, 104, 104, 104, 105; 也有可能是： 95, 96, 96, 96, 105，这两者情况差很远的。
事实上律师的Q3都超过120了，超过EE的90th percentile，也就是说假设样本是30，有7个律师超过27的电子工程专业的智商。
