来非法打工等情况的发生，特意在学生签证条件里设置了8202这个条款。根据澳洲
Migration Regulation 1994: Schedule 8 里关于签证的condition里，对于8202的解
释可以归纳为：
如果签证持有人，不是政府资助学生，则必须满足以下2个方面：
1. 必须参与课程80%以上(即出勤率不能低于80%);
2. 所取得的成绩必须被学校(education provider)满意。
以上2个方面，只有有一个没有满足，根据法律，学校必须立即报告给移民局，并出具
‘Notice under Section 20 of the education services for overseas students
act 2000’ 给学生，同时移民局也能收到一份。在信中会告诉你违法了签证condition
8202(3)(a)出勤率或者8202(3)(b)成绩。要求你在信发出的28天内去移民局

最近，在美国的一些中文网站上，兴起了一阵“老留”针对“小留”的讨伐。老
留，严格意义上说，是指2000年大规模自费留学开始之前，到达美国，落地生根，如今
事业有成，子女正在陆续进入大学和婚恋年龄的一部分人。小留，特指在2010年前后，
自费来美国读高中和大学本科的一部分年轻人。老留和小留可以说不是一代人，甚至可
以说，小留和老留的孩子，即所谓ABC, “华二代” 是同一代人。
老留的心态，有几分倚老卖老，也有几分自亮伤疤的伪豪迈，因为他们最喜欢的
就是说自己当初如何怀揣几十美元到了美国，一下飞机就进餐馆打工，或者第二天就进
了实验室干到晚上十点，以此反衬小留如何依赖父母，靠父母养活，花天酒地，不爱读
