Almost all schools are full for 5 days option except those daycare school.
You can look for following non-religious school:
1. Austin montessori school. It is said to have long waiting list. We didn't
tour it because we are not into montessori for our son.
2. Bluebonnet school on cedar park. Great facilities. We just don't like the
3 yrs old teachers. There is another Bluebonnet school in canyon creek.

of the 3 types of schools, elementary, middle, and high, high school is
usually of higher importance b/c of its direct relevance to college entrance
- after all getting into a good college is the main reason for attending a
good school district, which makes it more valuable, right?

基本就是RRISD的West Woods和Eanes ISD的West Lake。还有个AISD的LASA，是academy
，要考试才能进的，在AISD。70万在奥斯汀买房选择余地大，在78750, 78759买没问题。 |

the best elementary schools there are in Austin, both feeds into Canyon
Vista (best middle school in Austin), and then Westwood HS (traditionally
one of the two best public schools by US News Ranking).
Sure there are plenty of Chinese down south too, but the critical mass of
Chinese are still up north (there's a reason why Chinatown is up north).

Westwood：spicewood 78759 附近是中国超市和中餐馆多一些。
Westlake：在西边靠湖，北边上班的话，不如spicewood方便。
78727里也有一个角儿初高中很好，不过小学不行，家里半大孩子，且预算不够的话，

basically on the money. If you care about schools, traditionally the two
public powerhouses in Austin are Westlake and Westwood, both of which are
highly ranked by USNews, and by extension the surrounding neighborhood/
feeder system are considered most desirable.
North is generally considered more desirable to asians than South b/c the
critical mass is up north. Not saying there aren't many asians/Chinese down

78759区域的房子，但是我了解了一下，按我这个预算，2000年以后的房子基本上不可
能了，大部分都是七八十年代的房子，能有90年以后的房子就算不错了，而且几乎都低
于2000平方尺。不过也只能接受这些。

题贴有的也上了好几轮儿了。今天我把他们集中起来，总结一下我一个多月来瞧见过的
鸟。这一归置可不得了，短短这么几十天的功夫我居然认识了二十几种鸟儿（近三十种
啦），收获颇丰、我很有成就感。记得以前看“Friends”，过几季就会有那么一集，
该集故事性不强，就是把前面播过的那些精彩镜头、片段汇总起来凑成一集，算是加深
记忆吧。我也跟着淆，把所有的帖子过了一遍，每个鸟找出一两张代表照片，并附上帖
子链接以便遍查找。
回顾过去、展望未来，希望今后能见到、认识更多的鸟儿！也祝愿各位爱鸟、爱动物的
童鞋看到更多自己心爱的动物！
注1：中文名有些是在网上现找的、有的名字挺绕嘴，加引号的是我的习惯叫法，嘿嘿。
