他们不能帮忙Expedite process,说最多就是自己contact USCIS，试试运气
另外，在拿到EAD卡之前没有60day的grace period,就是不能工作，不建议离开美国 |

我和international advisor讨论了半天的结果是，我立即延期护照，拿到护照后再申
请OPT。我用一半60day period， 但绝对是正确的做法。因为OPT办理效率似乎及其低
下，一点小问题，就会拖半天。
所以，强烈建议你等拿到新护照后再申请。 |

Suppose they receive it at Jun 27
During Jun 27 until they approve it, you are legal to stay in US
Suppose they approve it September 1
Then September 1+90 days = your OPT grace period, about Dec 1
So total job hunting time is from Now to Dec 1
If you are not sure about your job-hunting skill, you should pray the
government approves your OPT as slow as they can.

legally with out your opt but you can not work. do not need to delay your
graduation.
OPT is not possible taking too long time like 4-5 months. You revoke opt is
a mistake. |

这里有个问题，从我拿到degree到opt被approve之间这段时间（这样算有5个月！！）
，我的身份是什么？？？既没有OPT，也不是F1。。。。黑了？？？还是我的timeline
有误？
OPT approval之后90天内必须找到工作－－》 8／20／12
也就是说我如果今年底拿到学位，明年8／20前要拿到工作offer，这个理解对么？
另外一个问题就是，学校给的OPT申请步骤上，第一步是申请I-20 form for OPT
这个什么时候开始申请？11月底12月初？？？
很迷惑。。问题比较菜鸟。。请过来人解答下。。生怕弄错一步变成黑户。。

发帖数: 208 | 10 OPT是一年的期限。但要在3个月内找到工作才能使OPT继续有效，其实你只需找一个公
司挂靠一下，比如你有朋友自己开公司的，而且只需要报告学校，学校会更新系统，移
民局查的可能性微乎其微。
MM可以申请OPT开始日为2月底（max 60days after graduation),你三月底生完，再做
个月子之后，仍然有9-10个月的时间找工作。
F2不建议，象楼上们说的，很被动。至于延期毕业，觉得没必要，而且老外可能觉得生
个孩子不是个事，不一定能批，你可以跟学校的ADVISOR谈一谈，不要说就是因为生孩
子，可以说因为怀孕你觉得身体不适什么的，不一定能继续学业之类的。

review。于是我就放弃了，打算不延期毕业了，把之前撤销OPT的信再撤销回来，这事
是学校的研究生院的人帮我办的。我根本联系不上移民局的人。学校研究生院的说已经

For example, Sun trust requires that the new rate must be 0.5 points or more
lower, you can relock. From 5.25 to 5 is NOT permitted.
30 days lock will give better rate. 15 days lock will get even better than
30 days.
The difference is normailly 0.125 point between 60days and 30 days. |

这不rate又降了，broker终于同意把closing fee又给免了。不过broker说我们因为是
