waited until mine expired to send it to myself.

Current customers: Just make another Amazon account and gift it to your main
account. When Friday rolls around, I'll be using my Sisters account to gift
myself a Prime Membership and pay her cash for the price of the membership.
It seems like a hassle, but I think the discount is worth the effort.
We might not even have to do this, last year I simply gifted myself a
membership, no issues at all.
