是不是在他们网站上面买一个手机，再花6.99买一个sim card activation kit。
受到之后，打电话activate？
之后呢，再买refill的卡，冲值。
冲值的话，是90天有效，如果过期了，那么电话账号就吊销了，不能用了，里面多的话
费就没了。
所以，只能在90天有效结束之前，再次冲入话费，之前的多的话费也就不会没了，会连
同新冲的话费一起，90天之后再失效。
可以网上冲值，网上查询吧。
我是想，万一父母带回国了，我还能在这边maintain这个电话帐户。 |

activation kit and airtime refill card.
If you 在他们网站上面买一个手机, the sim card comes in the phone package.
Usually it also comes with a few dollars as starting credit. The credit
expires 90 days after you activate it or used up, whichever comes first.
You can either call to activate or do it online activation.
Yes, 可以网上冲值，网上查询 balance if you setup online account。You can
also check the balance on the T-Mobile phone. You can also dial 1-800 number
to 冲值. Just enter mobile phone # and PIN for the refill card.
You can buy refill card at other online stores for lower price. I use
callingmart.com, which is at least 3% cheaper. Sometimes they give you 10%
off coupon code.
If you want to use the T-Mobile phone in China, make sure the phone is 四频
（850/900/1800/1900). You also need to call T-Mobile to unlock it before you
take it to China. The unlocking is free, however you need to call within 30
days that you refill your account.
Once you have added $100 to you account, you only need to add $10 per year
to keep it from expiring.
BTW, why do you want to maintain这个电话帐户 after 父母带回国了? Unless your
parents come here frequently, I don't think it's worth it.

T-Mobile's U.S. prepaid service has data in the form of the Web Day Pass
which provides 24 hours of unlimited data for $1.49. Officially only the
first 30 MB get full 3G+ speeds. Speed is supposed to be throttled to 128
kbits/second after 30 MB but when I tried the service shortly after launch,
I used over 200 MB in a day with no apparent capping. Update: the soft cap
now seems to be in place and fully functional. The Day Pass can only be
activated by visiting m.web2go.com or wap.myvoicestream.com with the phone's
browser.
